even i got for same price 3 weeks before

There are ample of them depends on your choice. Which type of place would you like to visit?? ... Beach, Hill Station, Waterfalls, Religious place, places of historic importance like forts, caves, etc. This would help us to give you a precise reply

Also mention the distance you are willing to travel !!

i have never travelled more than 40km at a stretch,
beach or waterfall sounds like fun.
no. of rides- 3 or 4 ( 3 fz's,1 p220)
distance-i cant say,we plan to leave early morning 5-6am and be back before night.
none of us have ever been on a biking trip before,this will sort of a learning experience for all of us.i live at andheri mumbai.
if any more information is needed,pls ask

If its the first time you going to ride a long..
Some places which I could feel appropriate is..
Alibaug ~ 120kms one way peaceful place, good rides.. as no ghats on the way.. So bit safe too.! Lot of beaches down here.. You can google for it.. eg: Kashid, Nagaon, etc.
Matheran ~ 90kms one way.. A good hill stations.. Quiet near.. But the ghat is quiet steep here..!!
Kolad ~ 150 kms one way.. Its a river.. good place.. havent been here though.. Can check out

Ideal place IMO will be any beach in Alibaug..!!

actually i dont even have a bike yet,i have booked a p220 and its due tomorow
i am gonna try to finish the run in within 2 weeks by riding a lot within the city. andheri to marine drive and back atleast once a day .
as soon as i get my first service done,i have 3 friends wid fz's waiting for me to organize a trip...kashid i hear is nice, matheran iv been there many many times with fmly so will be boring!

Kashid is best..!! Even Nagaon is pleasant if you interested in Watersports too..!!

congos for the new bike,how much is the waiting for the 220?Another place would be lonavala,100km one way.Another route would be to nashik as on way you get the kasara ghats which has only one way traffic,hence safe for cornering.

Hey sorry for the late reply, I was in office that time, just reach home ! ...... Now regarding 1 day getaways there are many around mumbai ..... since you prefer beaches / waterfall as rachit and rakesh suggested Alibaug / Lonavla are best places to be visit for first timers. Also Igatpuri / Kasara would be fun as suggested by rakesh since the road is fantastic and safe !! .... The ghat there is not that difficult as the lanes are separated by dividers and traffic flow is not that heavy ... If you want to visit a nice waterfall coupled with few minutes of trek then you can visit Shahpur (Asangaon) (~100km) near base of Mahuli Fort on Mumbai - Nasik Highway ... Alternatively, you could also visit Vardayani Waterfall on NH17 (~100km) near nagothane but that is a bit tricky road and may not be suggested for first timers ..... Since your bike would be new, try not to rev it more than 70kmph !!

Oh ! ...... So you are asking it too early ! ....... Anyways since its you first time, I would suggest you to check out the first page of this thread to get info about necessary riding gears for long rides ....
