Hi Marcus, its the other way round....IRC on the front and SM in the rear...the front tyre looks gr8 and the rear tyre i bet is even better...

@all: Hampi plan seems a bit bleak as there is some commitments that i have on priority...i guess you all can do this ride without me...i will visit sometime later...however i am still not sure if i can do this ride or not...

^^the rear tyre jus looks awesome.. it won't brake at all.. it skids.. I took it to Reddy to ask his opinion.. he said "fat front will put xtra pressure in ur hands.. and please change the rear tyres.. these are not for normal roads!! there wont be any grip!"

I called up the Metro tyre walla for the replacement and he said, "come lets see how good is your tyre so that I can buy that back.." have to visit Lamington ASAP.

I am outta Hampi too.. My condition wont permit me to ride.. I need a proper servicing!

Anup, are you in for the Aids day ride.. if not r u free on sat??

Razor how's your condition now? Serviced yet? What did the mechanic say?

I think I'll join you guys on the 30th ride. I am eager to see Satyen's Avenger and meet his friend to learn more about modding!

I got the bike properly serviced and hopefully the mileage is back on track - there was some major clogging in air filter and carburettor, oil was dirty, disc pad under the caliper was too tight and was touching the disc and lots of other stuff. So now I can move anywhere without any fuel problems I guess.

BTW Razor, can you sms me your friend Raja's number? I forgot to ask you that day. I want to meet that guy he was talking about who customizes handle bars. That place near LP...I am planning to visit that this Saturday with him. And it'd be fun if you guys accompanied too! What say you?

The bike doesnt have too many mods on it now, since he has become a father now and has is more of a car - man now...

There were HIDs (no clue if they still exists),
New handlebars (i think gone now),
Some filter (still there)
Some new spark plus (still there)
Alloys (still there)
Clear Tail Lamp(still there)
A different tubeless tyre TVS I think(Still there)

He is NOT there for the ride, but I will show you the bike and give you his number, he will help you with people who can give you good stuff...

@Cos: I think time to retire already has come. bike aint doing that well so am i too....will have to check on the schedule for the entire month..would be terribly busy...

will somehow have to make it a 3 day ride as i cant cope up with the high speeds at which darth went..(he did it in 2 days)...

Anyway, amidst all the condolences, I present to you, the few pics from my solo ride to Nashik. Pure photography, no special effects or post processing. One of the advantages of riding at 60 kph. Too bad photobucket resizes everything.
