I came back from Goa last night.. Nice journey was it.. Been with my good old childhood friends...!!
It was on 14th-15-16th.. While going we went from NH17 & on return journey we came back from NH4..
I loved NH4, the roads are just awesome... but gets borring as only plains.. It was worth as the distance covered was very fast.. we only & strictly took halts on 100+ kms one shot.
NH17, it was spectacular.. from those wonderful ghats & ghats & then ghats..!! i felt sleepy leaning my bike on corners.. enjoyed till the core.. been thru kashedi second time after my last trip to Ganpatipule with u people.. so was awaiting for it from long time..
On friday night, DarkNight sms'd me asking for the confirmation of ride next day morning, as he didnt remembered that I was in GOA & he sms'd me back telling, even spidy, razor & shiva is in Goa.. I quickly called up Gopi while I was having enjoying goa in the perfect way.. Yes While Drinking.... To my suprise they where just on the neighbouring beach.. Bagha Beach & we where putting up at Calungute Beach..!
Rushed there & they where too having daru sitting on the beach at mid-night.. what a co-incidence was it & was really wonderful to see them.. they suggested us NH4 & we tried it out which was just worth.. chit-chatted with them for some while & then left..

I thought your plans was to come back by Sunday... which is why I didnt tag along!!!!

I was planning to hit Goa on Tuesday, but got a disc break issue, and some real bad worn out pads and tyres... got new ones yesterday and got it fixed as well.... and now have a rear wheel alloy bent, will be fixing it today (where can I get it done @Goregaon?) ::Sigh:: this trip looks all jinxed to me!

If all goes well, I will be leaving tonight with another fellow xBHPian......

The Plan is to take NH17 and comeback via NH4
