ffe is short form of = ?Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Postmeeeeeeee........my pollution never passes.... I always use my friend's pollution and take pic of my number plate... Doing this for more than a year....
now since i have a ffe i know pollution wont pass ever....
Due to recent check/lowering of pollution level (allowed carbon level), most bike not able to pass the test which provoked the other way to get those stuff done.
In my friends circle Hunk/fazer and a 6 month old P150 failed. as well as countless Passion/Splender at Test Center. And I also experinced heavy Bikes papers checking (specially the Pollution certificate) these days by Kolkata Police.

Nice. Please do post your first hand review of the lid. And also use your last lid as a yardstick, so that we get an idea.Originally posted by Raneet View PostGuys, my new lid...

I've personally heard the YOHEs are prone to scratches. So take care.
FFE= Free flow exhaust. You got your PUC Certificate?Originally posted by Neel08 View Postffe is short form of = ?

PUC checking has been going on since the last 1 month. This is the easiest way of grabbing a motorcycle rider since most of the owners tend to forget getting it renewed. The fine is also 1k+, so makes better economic sense for the cops too
. And most pumps can manipulate the figures and print out a perfectly legal PUC certificate. Not that i favour this, but no other option for me after the FFE
You can take the ride away from me but you cannot take the rider out of my soul.........

cant really help bro.... Every bike fitted with a ffe dont pass the pollution test.... And even without the ffe my bike never used to pass the test.... I really cant hlp... If cops r really worried they shue fine the state bussues and trucks.... No offence here bro but not a single person will spend thousands of rupees on his bike just for the sake of pollution papers.... The govt wants a valid puc certificate and m providing it... And my friend's 1 year old r15 never passes the pollution check....and its stock...Originally posted by sunny_ View PostHe stays at Jadavpur, but he is here in his holidays only, he lives in Bangalore currently. These words are not from a responsible rider and citizen. It is known that the pollution created by some public vehicles can be clearly observed. But we should improve ourselves first, then we should point out others.Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Postcant really help bro.... Every bike fitted with a ffe dont pass the pollution test.... the lid is great until now. I ride during ride (office to home) and the most important matter of worry was fogging, trust me, nothing like that... also the ventilation is great.. all round, i feel its much better than many costly helmets like LS2 IMO... and the best thing is its very light...Originally posted by dreamseller View PostNice. I agree to the fogging issue in LS2 while standing still (at a signal). It gets pretty irritating. But I think that has been sorted out with the newer models.Originally posted by Raneet View Postthe lid is great until now. For my C250 = Yes, Other = No.
Is it LS2 soundless inside, after crossing 80-85 km/h mark ? I heard it is heavy, Is it hard to look forward from sporty seating position ?Originally posted by dreamseller View PostI agree to the fogging issue in LS2 while standing still (at a signal). Works for me. Not totally soundless at triple digits, but doesn't have the whistling sounds creeping up. And no such issue with the area of view. The only two downsides are the weight, and the fogging issue. Although, you can live with both: it's not that bad.Originally posted by Neel08 View PostIs it LS2 soundless inside, after crossing 80-85 km/h mark ? nothing like that.....it does not mean people will stop using ffe.... Fitting a ffe means violating pollution rules...... Then why ride higher displacement bikes.....lets ride electric scoots then....dont take it seriously bro....i am jst talking practically..... If a new bike like the r15 cant pass pollution test then the company should be responsible right bro....? Money is valueable to every person yaar...one wont spend thousands of rupees to figure out pollution problems.... I do agree that we should be responsible riders and citizens......no hard feelings bro.... Now lets forget this topic yaar.... Hee hee.... So when is your next ride out and where?Originally posted by sunny_ View PostThese words are not from a responsible rider and citizen.
