And I had taken a ride on a Rolls Phantom a couple of years back, Kolkata to Dhanbad.
The car belonged to a Delhi based business-man.

The owner of this bike has bought himself a white GSXR1000 which cost him 15lacs.......I highly doubt if 40K is a price he would fetch for his former white Busa, by any stretch of imagination,in that case........I would have got it before the news would have spread that wide

Kol-Silliguri-Darjeeling-Gangtok

Me and my brother along with 1 other guy as pillion are going to Silliguri + Darjeeling + Gangtok on 23rd morning (leaving around 3 AM), will be staying for 5-6 days there in Silliguri at a brother's place.
We both have the Karizma R.

Can those who have covered this distance on their own vehicles please throw some light on the road stretch and parts where extra care to be taken, and few tips and suggestions are also welcome.
Also, is the leaving time alright because I don't want much traffic so thinking to leave early around 3 AM...?

Google Uncle says Darjeeling is 661 kms and Gangtok is another 98 kms from there.

Please help me planning this trip. Thanks in advance.

I do short distance rides daily (40-70 kms) But in vacations sometimes we Karizma brothers plan to go somewhere, last time it was Mandarmani this time Darjeeling
