as doc dada suddenly cancelled the ride this sunday i was quite down as i was totally ready for a ride moreover its been long i haven't went for ride with my fellow xbhpians so was quite frustrated
well can't let this sunday morning go in vain so made a plan and inform raneet and one of our new friend suman saturday at around 11.30-12.00 and fortunately they agreed to my proposal

15th Aug is a Monday and a Holiday..........but then what is it we need to do ???

a city/highway Ride or a simple G2G ride ???

Now I am of the notion that any kind of ride would be a bit uncomfortable.......as we would be wet like fish and roads has been washed to broken patches in a lot of places in the renewed vigour of the monsoons...not to forget the idea of getting dirty and splashing waters, with very little chance of clothes drying up fast............if it is still desirable then its an ok.

A G2G in comparison would involve flocking singularly at a certain place, having some tea and snacks discussing our biking stuff and amid jokes and laughs while it rains and we hook under a shade and then dispersing our way home on our own.No trouble of getting wet and riding or getting excessively splashed around.

So what would it be ???

Hey guys I've decided to hit the highways on the 15th of Aug... Thought of Diamond Harbor... routes will decide tomorrow but before that I need participation... will start off as early as possible in the morning...

Nice destination but bad weather conditions............with the present state of rains, all our merry making would be gone by the time we reach Joka terminal after beating Behala...........and then we have a single lane Highway to deal with and with road wash-offs common.

I think, we should float two plans in handy :
1. A hanging out G2G.
2. A ride to Bakkhali Sea Beach (a better place to be in than Diamond Harbor and it is the extension of that same route)

The first plan if rain do not recede by Sunday evening and the Second plan if we have a drier Monday.........atleast the traffic won't be chaotic and we can ride in comfort.
