saw a Hayabusa and 2 R1's on NH2, Kolkata-Delhi highway near Kolkata. One R1 was stock and the other was customised with dual Akrapovic exhausts. We all started at a signal, I rushed to 135kph but they were still disappearing...and GONE! wow

guys i think my battery has gone kaput as after a full charge my bike only ran for two days and two days idle.. if i change my battery what battery should i go for and what is the specification. i ride p220. and also a reliable shop that i can buy it from in north kolkata

Hi Sheelpriye,

The waiting period for CBR in Kolkata is 45 days.. If you have little bit luck and talent to convince those showroom guys you might get it before 45 days also..
There are only 2 Honda showrooms in Kolkata.. One Todi Honda (Near Minto Park) and other Shiva Honda (BT Road). As far as i know both of them have same waiting time.. I feel somehow Todi is better in their commitment than Shiva, as i have a bad experience with Shiva, once long before.. what i would suggest you is have a talk with both the showrooms and decide on whom to go based on their response..

THinking of getting a P220 silencer on my P180 UG4. Had a word with PBK guys they said it will b a good idea. mileage will decrease a bit and their will be a small increase in power.

No, its for a seasoned rider who has grown up on 2 strokes, a good friend. .

I am not planning for any Motorcycle as of now as my riding is rather limited because of work and the hot/humid weather (commuting)

A very good friend in Calcutta has booked the 650R, let me have some saddle time on it.

It will be a very good upgrade for him from 2 strokes.. He will enjoy the ride to max!!

I assume its N 650R.. Its a great bike.. Had a very short ride in it, I liked the seating posture very much and not to forget the beat of parallel twin..

Just for the records, Sheel, there's a showroom in Howrah that was giving ready delivery. And no, it wasn't the test bike . Didn't take it because Shiva Wheels had called me up for my bike's delivery by then.
