I went out of my house in the evening yesterday, after returning and from the trip and having had rest.
I went to Sealdah to get something......while returning, near the Tangra Palmer Bazar boost water pumping station, there are a series of three speed breakers.
I slowed down on give myself space from the vehicles ahead of mine in order to tackle the speed breakers.
All of a sudden, a speeding autorickshaw appeared from behind, full of passengers, overtook me from my left and dodged ahead towards right trying to use the space of one motorcycle between the car ahead and myself. The auto rickshaw driver had made out with the front of the auto but the rear part of the auto messed with the left side of my bike's handlebar.
The sudden change in stability due to outer effect left me bewildered and my right hand on the throttle jerked off upwards and went away from the handlebar, this raised the throttle input and the bike swerved over the speedbreaker and came crashing down on right side off the road dragged due to sudden pick-up and uncontrolled direction change.
The Bike went and hit debris......and I was dragged for a meter over the rubble lining the sides of the road due to construction work.
Fortunately I was wearing the same helmet I used for the trip in the morning,I was thrown off the bike on my right hand, palm has been injured and then my face and head hit the ground filled with brick debris, after that I tried shoving my head away and I rolled on my left arm.
To my injury..........I have an injured right hand palm,an inflammation on face though small, aching knee and shoulders and a bruised left elbow.....also a bit fried ankle.
To my bike............twisted handlebar, twisted crash guard, twisted gear pedal, twisted left front indicator mount, heavily scratched fairing unit, small scratch on the left side of tank, cracked and scratched left side rear panel, dangling right RVM.
There you have the details.
