did you sold your bike ??
As Mach50 said...my bike needs a solid repairs...as because my engine is having a problem with crankshaft, and giving a horrible noise....which is unbearable along with that engine getting hot instantly and its getting off automatically. Another problem with fork and front alloy. When the front tyre pressure is below 24, it's going straight otherwise either it is going twards left or right.Originally posted by MACH50 View PostNo friend, his bike need solid repairs........I do not know for what reasons .....

I don't understand why you guys simply delete the posts? can't you PM the poster to edit and correct? It is not always possible for everyone to maintain not speaking in regional language specially when this is a regional offline thread. Sometimes it's important to be more compassionate than being so firm.Originally posted by xPolice View PostPlease note that posting in regional language is not allowed on xBhp. Bethuadahari
Was thinking in what way should i write this travelogue as it was not extensive but exhausting so here goes -
Couldn’t sleep last night thinking what a way to coincide a ride with an anniversary to boot, a Double Dhamaal (Double whammy). Getting up from sleep is hard but getting up from no sleep is harder. Sure I was wakey pushed myself to the bathroom got drenched fresh and fully charged. Did I take my camera’s battery that I left charging - yup check, what about fuel – yup checked, in fact I had taken my old Bruno to office previous day so I had filled it and then transfer it to our new Honda Dazzler (yes my Dad’s new ride) gulping few moments of petrol, rain gear half checked (the lower half was already torn, please don’t make the mistake I did) and what else do I have to take, well me of course.
Next I saw myself trying to cope up with the speed and acceleration of the Dazzler; truly good work of the Unicorn engine albeit with a little more torque but I started missing my Bruno’s growl already. I reached Arsalan after 15mins from my place Howrah (Amazing what empty roads could do to you). But the time was 5.23 am so Srikant and Ayaz who were waiting gave me scornful look to which I sheepishly smile. We then took the Ultadanga - VIP road route to meet the rest of the guys at the Airport-Belghoria Expressway Junction where we met Pranjal, Raneet(pillion with Pranjal), Sudhatma, Sourav (pillion with Tehai) and Tehai a newbie within us. Was very disappointed with such dismal attendance that to on a group’s anniversary. With pleasantries exchanged we headed to Madhyamgram - Barasat to pickup Bappaditya who also rode pillion with Sudhatma (avoided bringing his KZM coz it had become The Rattler).
And thus the Journey began with lots pot-holes , dumps and rash road users with surprisingly behaved truck drivers. Since Bappa knew the way, he was leading in front with Sudhatma while Srikant, Tehai and I were in the middle and Pranjal with Ayaz bringing up the rear. Pranjal was having trouble keeping up with the group as his myth of Highways being broad, huge and butter was smashed beyond recognition as NH34 was small, narrow and far away from butter it was kinda the surface of the moon and I felt like a Mar’s explorer. So I took up the rear and so started pushing Pranjal to pile up his confidence showing him how to overtake on a narrow highway without being rash which he was doing but inadequately in the beginning and THEN it nearly happened. I was with Ayaz at the rear and Tehai was in front of us and further up the line was Srikant who was behind Pranjal (felt like a CAT’s paper’s question here he he). They were negotiating a turn and were in the process of overtaking a bus when Pranjal kinda panicked due to a truck in front braked hard and with Srikant and a TATA ACE coming up it looked as if there would be a pile up coz Srikant was already tank slapping and the rear tire freaking out due to hard braking corner but somehow he regained controlled. We had almost had our hearts in our mouths. I was like woa.
Soon things were settling down a bit but the group was riding a little too fast to make up time as it was a longish trip coz sometimes all of us kept losing Sudhatma - Bappa on the way, when we did pick up speed we found them two - three trucks ahead and being a narrow highway we avoided rash overtaking. At one point Ayaz, Srikant and I were almost cut off from the group specially after a road split and we had to call to confirm their whereabouts. We took few pit stops where Raneet started riding Pranjal’s bike with him pillion. Anyways, a good two hour ride we land up at Azad Hind Dhaba for the rest of the celebrating. Celebrations were a simple affair. Since the Cake wasn’t custom-made so we improvised with Srikant writing on it and I finishing it off with a small bike design (was good at drawing but no practice). The fun part was that I suggested nope make that insisted that to cut the cake with a Bike’s key, so the question was whose bike’s key? So we found that the Srikant’s bike had a long key so off we went with it. We cut the cake had it and finally settle for a sumptuous meal. I loved the Luchi & Aloor dum only that Idli sambhar and Omlette became a bit heavy so I had the minimum and we joked as to how should we finish the meal (here I again missed all you guys Sunny, Sayan, Doc, Satyajit……….goes on).
Well then we again pushed off with renewed vigor and then were riding down the highway. Here we exchanged our pillions (correct if I am wrong) Pranjal rode pillion with Bappa riding, Sudhatma rode Pranjal’s bike with Raneet, Tehai had become a loner as Sourav came pillion with me. Further down the line since Tehai became a loner, he became a bit rash, driving zig zaggedly and breaking the formation. So I went ahead to stop him and then slowed him down. Important to all new guys nothing personal joining all of us or anyone for that matter for rides, please do not zig zag or break formation, remember someone is following you and not racing. So if you crash the guy behind you would crash too, you wouldn’t want that right? Soon I had slowed down ,with rest of the group gone ahead, to enjoy the fields. I thought you would guys would miss us two riders but sadly you didn’t and we almost skipped you all and the Bethuadahari gates.
So, passing on the normal fees, we parked our bikes in the park near the gates. And then it started drizzling. Plain luck on that but still good coz our rides needed cooling down and where could we have eaten fresh Jackfruit just brought down from the tree. And fresh it was as we went a bit kiddish walking down a brick laid track where we soon reached an enclosure where got to see many peacocks who were busy showing their stuff which they didn’t have (they had minimum tail feathers). There was one bird that had his tail intact but he wasn’t showing, we even saw few storks busy catching frogs. We then proceeded to the Gharial’s Pond but I missed clicking it as it went down under the water with so much enthusiasm around. So much for it. While we were proceeding towards the gates the gateman suggested an enclosure where we could see a couple of Chital Spotted Dear and another housed a Boyal an Indian Rock Python which they had caught recently. The Stag had recently gone through rut season it was a bit aggressive and its antlers were relatively new while the reptile was coiled up as they usually are on the defensive in captivity and don’t feed hence grumpy. We moved to the gates.
We had to take time taking out our bikes as the place where we parked our bikes had been recently filled with fly ash so they had sunk in a bit. Soon we left one by one or rather two by two nope three by three, Ayaz, Srikant and myself left early as we had prior commitments while Sudhatma-Bappa, Tehai-Sourav came out a little later with Pranjal-Raneet following. Soon Srikant had to fill-up again as his bike was guzzling fuel more than usual or maybe the calculations of the distance had gone kaput. But another disaster was averted yet again. An Amby (had a government plate) had traversed into our lane and Srikant had to swerve to avoid crashing into it, I was like . And soon after passing few junctions it started raining quite heavily. I was ahead so I stopped to wear my raingear or whatever it remained (remember what I said in the beginning). Pranjal-Raneet passed, Ayaz passed me. I picked up speed soon Pranjal-Raneet flagged me down at Azad Hind . While I was wondering Ayaz went ahead would the others stop. Lo and behold! Srikant was the fourth biker to join us but alas everybody sped off. Pranjal-Raneet later told us over lunch that all of them had plans to stop by Azad Hind while ours was an unscheduled stop as Srikant was feeling uneasy and I had to freshen up as I had got drenched. We discussed group-riding and how to better it even if it’s small or humungous. Both of them had lunch and we had coffee, lots of coffee.
We had called up everybody with numbers that were unavailable, unreachable and switched off, Blame the rains. Among them, only Ayaz called back to say that he had already reached Airport gate but no news from the others. We split up near the Airport-Belghoria junction. So, we moved on without any incidents or surprises, Thanks to the Lord.Last edited by chris_terror; 07-01-2011, 10:44 AM.PLAYTIMES' OVER KID

Yes probably you are correct to a certain extent. I also second your thought. But some translation must also be accompanied.
To be fair enough popularity of a THREAD depends on localisation.
Hope SUNNY & X-POLICE realise this.
Moreover some good samaritans in this Thread also try to maintain the decorum.

Thanks Satyajit da for the thumbs up. I'm quite new compared to members like Doc, Bappa da, Mach, you, and others. When my posts get deleted it feels quite embarrassed for me only then i can imagine how you people feel. Moderators and people in power, should learn to respect each and every member first. If they behave like this, only they will find reduced members and the downfall of the largest two wheeler online community in India and nothing else. Xbhp is not the only automotive website available. Hope they realize that.Originally posted by satyajitrc View PostRaneet,

Its not a personalized account just an overall review, Travelogue doesn't necessary dwell on the accurate but on the info but more than welcome to have a version. Hence i mentioned "correct me if i am wrong" in the Log.Originally posted by Raneet View Post
