I would suggest you get your bike tuned by a mechanic. Even i had the same problem in my bike initally but proper tuning solved it.

Rising rpm after a ride.in p 220.

try it out for few days,its a common prob with carb pulsys,the thing is the idealing sensor is not matched or allin-ed properly if u keep the idel speed at 1.3 rpm as the manual says,but the trick is to keep the idal speed to close to 1 k rpm.it gen solves the issue what u said,.there can be a prob of cold start just hold the throttle steadily if something like that happens.
Even my bikes rpm at idel is 700-800 only,the bike is way better that way.for p 220 though 1 k is enough to solve the prob.
