Hi guys....plz refrain from using our local lingo on forum because its an open forum read by Moderators and people from other states, the thread 's name says it all......Plz its my humble request to keep it reeled in private messages....actually i had to literally translate some the posts to some of my Mumbai and Gujarati Xbhp friends , even some guys in Bengal don't know proper Bengali so kindly plz keep my request.......

Bengali is an accepted language of conversation within the Indian territory as per the Constitution.This forum here is not above it, the mods are wiser.There are over thousand threads on Xbhp where local language is used, helps us stay connected to our roots.Everyone eventually does gets a hold of it.

Moreover every important date, time, logs and reports are in English over here.

@Pranjal: ask Bappada before you confirm your purchase online- Bappa uses DSG jacket, he can help
The NH6 ride has not occurred today, maybe later

As for the ride to Sharma Dhaba, even I had no idea if it was happening or not

BTW I own a enfid electra 350. Dose it qualify to join your team

You would surely make an ultimate statement when it comes to Cruisers

The Enfield Electra too is a nice bike,I have ridden it a couple of times substantially.It more than qualifies to join the team Infact, I regretted the absence of an Enfield in our team

There maybe Harley owners in Kolkata, but I am yet to spot one here and I am also sure about the fact that they had not made their presence known at this thread here.

Welcome buddy....nice to know you've booked the Iron. Good Bike, Soft-tails are much better but it varies to person to person. Personally love the V-Rod though. Hope to meet you soon on a open deserted highway..

I was wating for the HD from the time of T2. Now I got to buy one.
Enfild is a good bike but some how I could not find it very dependable and not as smooth as HD (yes I know the cost) but still is has not changed much for 80 years.
Regarding other HD owner till I spot an other HD owner at KOlkata, I will be the 1st offitial HD owner (i hope !!). Any way I am 1st to book HD from Kolkata as per HD india.

Thanks ! I have to wait till OCT after burning 7.5lk (including shpping from Delhi. and excluding accessary).
I will love to join G2G but after I get my HD.

Come on.......you cannot compare a sub 1k bike to a 6.5K bike,
Enfield is always more dependable when it comes to mileage and maintainance cost in comparison to the Harley-Davidson.The HD on the other hand has got reasonable cc and tech to gift you the smoothness.
Even after 80 big years, you can still buy a thumper without spending much while Harley, which begun its journey as a favorite for war veterans has gradually gone up to indicate lifestyle

One question for you though...........did you buy Harley for the brand or because you like a big cruiser ?????
Coz if you talk of branded cruiser, no one can match Harley, but if you talk of a big cruiser, there is another one within that price range already in India and it is as big......the Hyosung ST7.

Meanwhile you are welcome to attend the G2Gs with the Enfield, would like enjoy your company

Saree Guard....... and maybe a couple of Fog lights on either side of the headlight .
Also air horns must be added to the list to make your presence known apart from the stock electronic horn
