Boss, as per HD expart from HD India, told me that HD LED Head lamp is like 45watt HID lamp (I am not very sure though).

HD LED is a technologically superior product.........Think of Television, we first had LCD TVs here and then for a better resolved viewing we have the LED TVs here.Similarly the HIDs we use is somewhat like the LCD....well it does impart solid intensity, but the LED might just overcome its capabilities and look unique too.So why not test first and infer later ????

Can you please tell me if there is any good riding gear shop at Kolkata ? From where you guys are buying ? Online ? Ebay ?

you wont get any good riding gear here in Kol,try to get it from PRS,since you will be riding a premium bike,you should buy apparels from HD itself!

you can try scoyco products,am using them and the quality is really good,absolutely VFM

Totally agree with !! To add, HID need extra ballast and need time to get to full intensity as a result can not switch between Hi to Low very efficiently, so you need mechanical reflector in side the projector.

But LED ........... every thing can be eliminated... Fast response...no additional part needed inside projector. Just lens and a good heat-sink (very important ) and WAW there is Light. Not to mention it consume much less energy.

Tomorrow I am going to visit the Azad Hind Dhaba on the NH6 for breakfast after many months.

Of late I have started to get the urge to ride the highway really much.

Hence,tomorrow I am embarking on this surprise ride.

If anyone wants to get going with me, they are welcome.

Meeting point : Don Bosco Park Circus school.

Meet in time : 6.15 am

Move out time : 6.30 am

Venue to ride to: NH6 Dhaba on the NH6.

Superb Highway tour

so hw was d ride mach... i was so excited to go...

The ride was wonderful, unlike my last outing on the highway, this time we cruised in perfect orientation.

I would like to thank very much for joining me :
My new found biker buddy- Sujit and Deep,the Avenger 220 duo loves biking very much and had hit higher speeds today with me.Had the opportunity to talk to them a lot today.

My trusted and a bit off the record biker buddy- Arijit, most of you don't know him. Arijit hails from Howrah and rides a black FZ16.

Sujit, Deep and myself started off from Don Bosco school Park Circus at 6.50 am.Due to being pre-informed about willing Bikers not being able to join due to unforeseen circumstances,hence I planned to change the timings and venue subtly

We really did ride to Azad Hind Dhaba, but not the one on the NH6, but to the one on NH2 Though we got on NH2 after cruising through Kona Expressway starting from Vidyasagar setu.

Arijit joined us a bit later at the Dhaba.

So, my due for the month of May is done.By that I mean, every month I make it sure to have an early morning ride, feel the cool breeze of the morning and the adventures of the highways as usual.And nothing can deter me from having my dues

Though there were a lot of reasons this time:
You have got a screwed clip-on problem,
Konkal loved to sleep as he is frustrated with his nice bike
Raneet and Haxor had not studied the whole year
Rudra wanted to come but the previous night, might have got scolded by parents
Pratik had a marriage party to attend.......and he has no bike in Kolkata too.
Bappaditya spent the last Sunday in the hills and now his family matter might have escalated to mountainous heights after a hectic official week
My cousin Ayan got bolted by fever since Friday and was too weak to attend today's ride.
And another of my biker buddy, Saikat has met accident tomorrow and might have screwed his bike.

But even after that, I did proceed on my own just like most of the times with a small company..........and we had quality riding too
We have also recorded a very nice video......would release it soon.This time the video contains some of very scenic locations of the highways,and maverick maneuvers executed which were recorded from the pillion of my bike and a very nice formation of three cruising the highway at same pace together.

The weather also played strange too today.........there was a very smoldering sun shine but cool winds were charming us as if we were cruising some cool zone.None of us were able to understand the mystery behind this.But still, we did not felt the fatigue at all.

Had a really wonderful day........this ride was unique in its own way,I always hurried but this time I cruised at perfect speeds.
I had my ride of the month............would be back to the highways sometime next month.
