Lovely!!! By the way, wasn't this done long back? Because I remember seeing this either in the P220 ownership thread or maybe some DIY thread. Ne'ertheless, nice personal touch!

Depends on where you're put up.. If you keep your bike parked outside every night, unattended, eventually you will attract a thief's attention.

And yes, since the infrastructure is not as good as Delhi, you won't find wide roads and flyovers everywhere. But then, let's face it, no other city has as good a road system as the Capital.

Cop scene comparatively lite hai bhai as long as you're not breaking rules in front of the police. Delhi Police se toh kum hi strict hai. And the summers, well I can only say that you can ride in May-June summer without worrying about loo and sunstroke. Happy riding!

Just go for it.. there is nothing to worry about riding bikes here. We all do No problem with Police if you have all documents properly, obey traffic rules and ride with helmets on, all the time (both rider and pillion). just one thing be very cautious with auto walas and rickshaw walas..

Thief scene is quite high. I don't know about Delhi's situation. You just need a safe parking place. When I inquired 1 month back in TODI Honda, there was no waiting period. They said they will give delivery on same day

Parking outside during night or for that matter even on day time is not safe. I would suggest to look for some closed parking space near your flat if you find it difficult to change the flat itself..

If you stay in a complex, you can safely keep your bike outside. But, in my honest opinion, keeping the bike on road at night and expecting it to be safe is utter stupidity in any city/town in India. And trust me, my friend, brokerage ka scene is even worse in cities like Mumbai, B'lore n all.

Din bhar ke liye XENA will do the trick. But don't expect it to safeguard your ride all through the night.

So your best solution is atleast get a place where you can park your bike inside a compound, if not a proper garage.
