For Me, black asp was always there to help me if I ever encountered problems with my Apache 180 RTR

Friendly Assistance and more Internal knowledge about the bike, is wat we get!!!

Parvez bhai was always there with his tools and wrenches to help out anybody, not only me, but everyone who asked for help..!!!

I was once saved from being looted unnecessarily for my RTR by those Jyoti TVS mechanics...He tried to overcharge me, thinking we had no knowledge about internal parts...but it was only due to Parvez bhai, I think I saved many a Bucks...

black asp, parvez has helped me with my rx restoration too. I was searching for good tyres, he promptly and without asking found a set of michilen sirac street tyres and brought them to cuttack. He has been a good friend. I value him immensly as a fellow rider. His inquisitiveness, though a bit overzealous at times, always impresses me. Looking forward to get to know other members of the odiya biking family.

Why I have asked you all to share your interaction experience here, is simple. The brotherhood and comradry of the odiya bikers should be documented and highlighted. So brothers, please contribute your side of the tale.

Though I'm not a part of this group, but my interaction with Parvez bhai was something I'll never forget in life.
He helped me source a front number plate when mine suspiciously vanished from the bike. He mounted it himself and got the number done nearby. He in the mean time, he helped another guy on a ninja with broken sprockets. He dropped my mum to the station when I was ill, later he took me to the hospital. Hospitality was awesome! He volunteered to ride along with SWAYAN the next day..... I mean, main bahut chhota insaan hun. I believe in humanity because of people like him. I aspire to be 50% of what such guys are in my lifetime.

Hello Xbhp BBSr,
I am Piyush Chhapadia From Bargarh,i ride a yamaha Fz16 and i am too excited to know there's a xbhp forum of bbsr(odisha).
I booked a Ktm duke 390 with rajpath ktm and now i cancelled it cause they are not delivering the bike nor returning my booked amount.
I got 25000 out of 30000 yesterday after threatening to go insane if doesn't do so.
I would like to ask you something what bike should i buy now? as i was risking for service as Bargarh is hell 325kms away brom bbsr and now i will not go for a ktm one.
I have eyed on Desert storm 500 which service center is nearby Sambalpur town. Please advice cause this Ktm thing is making me mad.

Hello chickyheart, KTM DUKE 390 is really nice bike , even i'm also in love with 390 but the issue here in bhubaneswar with ktm rajpath is that , they are not interested in doing fair bussiness rather they keep on doing all kind of stupid things with which a customer gets annoyed on him . Even other owners who own a ktm here in bbsr are also upset with the kind of service they are delivering. If you want then you can also purchase the bike from either Vizag or else kolkata whichever you prefer is better as though its far from your place still then they provide good service to their customers . Now its your choice on KTM . For RE DESERT STORM 500 , i have no words to say because its an Indian pride and once a RE rider forever a bulleter. Best of Luck Ride safe.----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

If you are buying a bike for just the brand name then buy the 500 by all means. It will be a decent runner. Do not expect any earth shattering performance. Its a good classic styled bike with a lot of torque.

If you are looking for a powerhouse then wait for some time. Lot of new and powerful bikes are coming like the hero-ebr hx250, bajaj pulsar 400cs/ss, yamaha r3 etc.
