There are plenty of bikers here in Nasik. But not very active.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Yeah Right, I am trying hard to make this thread happening and having some ride around Nasik with Nasik xBhp Bikers, plan is on as soon as i get time on some weekend or a single day will definitely post my plan on the thread 3-4 days before. Hey hi Guys,
I will be in Nasik on this weekend, most probably will come down on sat morning by 9 or so, have some bike work need to be done by service center, hope to get it done by noon or so, then i am free for a day, so can we have a short ride near by Nashik may be to Sula Wines or Trymbakeshwar or Ajnaeri or peth or Gangapur Dam...etc. Or if you have any thing interesting place to visit will be most welcome, we have time restriction as i will be free by noon only so we have time till 7 or 8 pm to return so a short and nice location would be great. hope antz.bin (if he is in Nashik for the weekend) and Sushrut are confirmed for the ride

First xBhp Nasik G2G Ride :
After a long time, finally we have a start for xBhp Nasik Ride G2G : The first G2G ride is planned on 22nd Sep 2012 (Saturday). This will be introductory short ride of approx 50kms (to and fro).
Location : Trimbakeshwar, Nashik.
Meeting Point :- Papaya's Nursery, Trimbak Road, Nashik
Meeting Time :- will be announced in a day or two.(It will be in afternoon)
For any ride, whether short or long, we advocate the usage of riding gear. No rider is allowed on weekend rides unless he/she complies with the following
Documents
a. Valid Driving License: MUST have and carry at all times
b. Bike Registration Papers: Original or Attested Photocopy
c. Bike Tax Certificate: Original or Attested Photocopy
d. Bike Insurance: Preferably a comprehensive insurance, personal insurance would be a plus.
e. PUC Certificate: A valid PUC certificate; especially if touring along with the group to pollution sensitive/monitored areas.
Basic Safety Gear:
a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
b. Thick Jacket (Preferably Denims)
c. Denim Jeans
d. Shoes
Safety Gear
a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
b. Thick Jacket/Riding Jacket: Must have inbuilt armour or external armour is also allowed
c. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
d. Knee Guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
e. Riding Boots/Sports Shoes/Army Boots: Anything that covers the foot well.
f. There is nothing that can better the protection of a full leather suit (if affordable). The preferred and most recommended piece of protection that your money can buy. Not compulsory though.
As this is the first and the short ride the Basic Riding gear (listed above) are mandatory.

As this is a small ride for approx 50kms to and fro, the Basic gears (Helmet, Jacket, Gloves) which are mentioned above are only mandate, it wont be a issue if you dont come with knee guard, But it is advisable to buy it, as there are lot of rides are planned for xBhp NasikOriginally posted by tanmay324 View Post .

I have decided for Trimbakeshwar because as it is a first xBhp Nasik g2g ride then nothing is better then riding to Trimbakeshwar for first ride.
