Got my bike back from SVC yesterday. Feels like a P180 now
Will take another 1K kms for the compression to build up and go from 180 --> 220, feel sad for the guys who'd be riding behind me...

Thing to Do Today
Ensure that you have done the following today before you hit the sack today!
- Ensure that you are in a condition to ride the distance that we would be covering over the next two days.
- Your bike is in a reasonable enough shape to complete this trip without a hitch.
- You have tanked up the bike so you don't waste anyone's time tomorrow morning. Please tank up to the brim of your fuel tank, don't fill it half to gain power to weight ratio advantage
- The air pressure in your bike is set to optimum level.
- You have the necessary papers i.e. RC+Insurance+PUC (For more than 1 year old bikes) with you. TN registered bikes need not carry originals.
- Your helmet visor is nice and clean so you don't have any issues with the early morning start tomorrow.
- You have enough cash in your wallet to pay for the resort/food charges [900/-], xBhp Yercaud Tee [115/-] and over and above this you have cash to spare for fuel and extra expenses and some cash for emergency.
- Your luggage for this trip is sorted out, if you are getting backpacks I would suggest you tie it down to your bikes with bungee cords rather than carry them on your backs.
- Ensure that your luggage contains any tools or spares that you may require and are specific to your bike.
- Carry a bottle of water, if everyone has their own bottle of water it saves a whole lot of time.
- Do not forget to carry the spare key for your bike.
- Carry some light winter wear, it can get pretty chilly at night. But in most cases our rider gear will suffice.
- Ensure that you have the number of at least two guys from your riding group, preferably one of them should be the pre-designated Leader/Sweeper of your group.
- You have a basic idea of the route your group is taking, in the rare scenario that you get detached from your group and get lost.
- Your mobile phone/camera batteries have been fully charged and you have packed the chargers in case the batteries on your equipment don't last for 48 hours.
- EDIT: Please ensure that you get a minimum of 4-6 hours of sleep before the start of the ride.

- Safe Biking
- Travel
- Fun
- Friendship
- Biking Brotherhood
Rest everything is secondary....

Hyper excited! Few more hours to start the ride to Cochin to meet all kerala riders.
BTW, I didn't receive my papers yet. It was supposed to be home by post this week. If it is not there till today afternoon, will be riding with original bill, print out from motor vehicles department site about registration details and some extra money to pay fine if I fail to communicate the issue to cops. Man! I can't miss this ride for any reason..

Okay i got to know that Jackets, Gloves and full pants are mandatory. I somehow dont feel okay with all this stuff. So kindly strike off my name from the list. Me and my partner are heading towards OOty. No hard feelings , i respect the rules but not enough to follow them.
