    Kirosh - this is droooling...can't wait to be there & to me it sounds like they may not reduce the tariff I guess, but being an off season there's could be a possibility. I'll keep my fingers crossed; anycase, its worth asking.

    I only see about 6 people joining from Chennai for quite sometime now, what's happening? Aren't all Chennai folks reading this OR not updating their names here OR want to join at last moment OR do not want to participate? (this is the last thing I want to hear)

      @aargee: Sure, I will check with them if they can get us some discount.

      We have around 45 days still to go. Given the fact that the ride dates are quite far away, the guys might not want give the confirmation right now. Expect the scenario to change as days go by.

          In May I will be going to Yercaud once. Date has not been fixed yet. Will update you guys.

                          We will approach Salem via NH 47.(Cochin - Salem 358 km)
                          we will meet somewhere around Salem.
                          I think you guys from Bangalore and Chennai will meet at Vaniambadi and approach Salem via Jolarpet - Thirupattur -Uthangarai - Harur.

                          In that case we can meet at the meeting point of SH 18 and SH 188 (north-east to Salem)

                            What is the itinery? If that is not yet planned, what was it last time? I want to come for this. It will take me atleast 12- 14 hrs to reach Salem from Trivandrum... So a bit of planning is needed.

                              Day 1:
                              4am: Start from Chennai
                              7am: breakfast at Vellore (Hotel Saravana Bhavan)
                              8:30: Halt at Vaniyambadi
                              11:00: Meet Bangalore team
                              14:00: Lunch at Harur
                              16:00: Reached Salem
                              17:00: Reached Yercaud

                              Day 2:
                              12:00: Start from Yercaud
                              13:00: Lunch at Salem; Bangalore team leaves via krishnagiri
                              18:00: Reached vaniyambadi
                              21:30: Reached Chennai

                              From Trivandrum, you might need another couple of days (one of to and the other for return).

                              @Praveen: It would be great if you too are around. Let's see if the dates can be altered.
