@Ananth: How about doing to Hoganegal or Horseley Hills or doing to Valparrai and surroundings . Some kinda cool place.? Think 2 days should be enough.

One weird thought, how about Senkottai (Tamil Nadu). I heard that Senkottai will resemble Wayanad (Kerala) to some extent.

@torque24: South Indian Heaven would be places like Kodai, Ooty, Munnar, Coorg, North Central Karnataka, hills station in Kerala. All far from Chennai

I meant for the Sunday Ride., not for the whole weekend., and i have bigger plans for the next weekend and so would want to just ride for a shorter trip this weekend.

Horseley Hills is OK., but again a Night stay should do fine..Valparai would take 3 days and I'm not sure if Senkottai would look like Wayanad..

Yelagiri???!! we can ride there in a day and come back... Thats for sure...

Yelagiri should be fine., but not a so great place. If we go it would be a 5 Am to 6 PM ride

Thirupathi for a ride. Okies with me. So will this be kinda 5am to 6pm stuff or will it be a rider dash kinda thing to Thirupathi & be back by noon for lunch at home.?

Am in for any of the places mentioned. My only expectation being weather be decent at our destination.

If the final destiny is Thirupathi, morning meeting point can be the Retteri Bridge.

Think the route to Thirupathi will go via Red Hills..?

I would suggest that you guys carry a bit extra cash because some might want to ride the hill up and down a couple of times, i know i did (twice) when we went back in 2007 Sept 15th

hey,i went to Gingee Fort yesterday.awesome place man.i couldnt climb up the fort.so returned after one km (definitely gotta reduce smoking)but ill go back again soon n climb

I suck at taking pictures so im sure this place is much more beautiful than it looks here.

Went to pondicherry after this.only 44 kms from there.almost 400km in total.
