I may very well be your first customer then Jawed, i'm thinking about painting just the front cowl, fender, and the tank shrouds a nice ivory white contrasting to the rest of the blue body of my bike, so give me heads-up when you are ready i'll drop by with my bike,

Well i have this question

Will painting in White color - make the bike dirty after some months of Painting?

Else does any special synthetics to be used to make it lookalike the same pure pearl white.

Actually it's quite the inverse, white does'nt really make the bike look too dirty because white reflects more light than any other darker colour, therefore when you wipe the bike it'll look as though it is gleaming, and for that shiny pearl white colour they use some sort of minutely powdered shiny flaks (like that "jigna", i don't know what it's called in english) in the paint that's how the paint gets it's mettallic sheen

I've seen Apache150 - Chennai Police Patrol Bikes - in white colored

Else

does White colors are specifically alloted for only these kind of Police Bikes?

I have seen Pulsar 150/180 coloured in full white.... and some with yellow stripes with Mumbai Police (traffic police I guess).

Guys i met the Guy with BMW F800 here in chennai, he is on world tour (he is d one we saw at PADI shell Bunk). i came to know him through my friend who's working in BMW showroom where he accidently dropped to change his tyres.
The bike is too tall for me, i am being(5.6 feet) unable reach the ground sitting on d bike... too scared to take a ride with my position...

hi guys to i visited the yamaha showroom to see fz16 and a guy there told me that yamaha is bringing the fz1 in india next year and the price will be 7lacs, and this is not a roumers i have confirm this news from yamaha chennai. so i might end up getting the fz1 rather then r1.

@ thunder - about the white paint i have painted my r15 in pearl white and blue combination and the bike is amazing if you are going to do local paint not the imported one then ur bike will become dull after 3 or 4 month what is mportent in the painting is the clear coat which is done in last if the clear is not a good one then the whole bike will become dirty and colour will fade.

Hello folks... I'm on my way to Cochin tomorrow. Four day ride again. This time we are having 2 bikes and a car. The gang is mostly from my office. We have booked a house boat as well. Thus, any plans for this weekend, I will not be available.

^^^ Same here. I'm heading to Kodachadri and Northern Kerala (Kasaragod dist) this afternoon with my trekking gang. No bikes though; aam aadmi seva vehicles (train/bus/jeep). Btw, a boat ride is there in our menu too.

So, I'll not be available for this weekend either.
