Just to reiterate the plan for the upcoming ride

Fri the 27th May Leave early from Chennai and reach Kolli hills
Saturady - Chill out and relax at kolli hills
Sunday Afternoon start and head back home

I would need people to confirm if they are coming as we have to book accommodation.

Please post if you are coming or if it is tentative. we will have to close the accommodation part by this week so requesting you guys to reply fast.

total kms should be approximately 1000kms and ride time should be about 9 hrs one way.

Requirements for the ride

1. Should have ridden with the chennai xbhp group at least a couple of times on short rides and some experience in motorcycle touring.
2. Driver's licence
3. All papers for the bike
4. gear(jacket+gloves +helmet+shoes)
5. bike to be in good condition

I was wondering if i could carry a fullface helemet from here to India.. Im not too sure if it would fit my check in baggage, I might have to stuff it into my hand baggage and shove it up the overhead storage, but im looking for brighter ideas to bring it back home in one piece..

1. They it as Cabbin baggage - Make sure you carry the helmet inside the sling bag (helmet bag) and stick a "FRAGILE" sticker

2. If they wont allow it as Cabbin Baggage (Some Airlines dont!) Then, you would have to pack it with the card-board box and stick the FRAGILE Sticker on the box. Ask the check-in counter figure to pack it up for you

3. Dont buy GMAX / SOL helmets - Reason would be given OFFLINE.
