Guys - There is a nice resort in Kolli...this is a army tent which has all facilities and he charges Rs. 1400/- per head for 2 days including good food for the 2 days..you can check with him on the availability

Hey folks, I guess I won't be in for any rides for the foreseeable future.
I got into a very bad crash near the Shol. Junction when a private cab hit us from the left (I was a pillion).

Relaxing the ATGATT rule has resulted in me looking like Joker with all the stitches on my face (Some say I look prettier now). My bike is totaled and had to be in the hospital for 2 days.

The rider is safe although he has a fracture on his left leg. The last three days has been pretty hard for me; therefore please refrain from making comments like a "smartass". I very well know how I screwed things up (includes giving the keys to a novice rider in a known accident prone area which was really really stupid of me)

As for the future, I intend to wait for a while and get a bigger bike. I have definitely not lost the spirit of motorcycling and still believe touring in%2

I was about to curse you for activating Voicemail and you come up with this! Take care machi! There are far too many morons on road!

And i got hit by a bus today morning on my way back home! The poor victor survived its 3rd crash and still running fine! And yeah I'm fine except a sour left shoulder!

@ Zaphod - Bad news man! Sorry to hear about your crash and your bike. Glad to hear that your ugly hide is still intact.......at least mostly! Now that you're "prettier" maybe we can get you hooked up again! LOL!

But jokes aside, I'm happy that you're okay buddy.

ATGATT is no definite guarantee against injury or worse but surviving a crash that doesn't kill you becomes just a little bit less painful to recover from.

@ Ananth - Buddy, give the Victor a break and try crashing the Karizma for a change!

Regarding the Kolli ride - I guess that whittles down our number further.

Thankfully Ravi and another friend, Aditya (also on a Ninja) will be joining the group. So it looks like another Ninja-fest again - and a repeat of the last Kolli trip in November when finally only 3 Ninjas made it!

For a change i took the Victor - ZMR is very much safely parked at home. Shit happens, You really cant shy away from it

And the riding vacation has been preponed to June 1 - 7 for some reason. Another week long solo ride beckons!
