Hey folks, I guess I won't be in for any rides for the foreseeable future.
I got into a very bad crash near the Shol. Junction when a private cab hit us from the left (I was a pillion).

Relaxing the ATGATT rule has resulted in me looking like Joker with all the stitches on my face (Some say I look prettier now). My bike is totaled and had to be in the hospital for 2 days.

The rider is safe although he has a fracture on his left leg. The last three days has been pretty hard for me; therefore please refrain from making comments like a "smartass". I very well know how I screwed things up (includes giving the keys to a novice rider in a known accident prone area which was really really stupid of me)

As for the future, I intend to wait for a while and get a bigger bike. I have definitely not lost the spirit of motorcycling and still believe touring in%2

@ Zaphod... Sorry to hear about your accident. I've been in the same situation 5 months back... . Take care of your health.

@ Rajesh, I don't think you will be alone. I believe steve and amit will be joining this ride..

And i got hit by a bus today morning on my way back home! The poor victor survived its 3rd crash and still running fine! And yeah I'm fine except a sour left shoulder!

Amit is coming from bangalore. so chennai to kolli i will be alone if steve tries to go pass 110 mark i believe he wont as he will be alone in that range.

steve based on your inputs i have to make a decision.

P.S. Once the stitches are removed, apply "Maderma" cream on the scar. It will disappear or at least make the scar less noticeable.

Thankfully Ravi and another friend, Aditya (also on a Ninja) will be joining the group.

Wont be able to make it Sunny. Have some personal commitments on the weekend which i can't miss.

@ Amit - I've been trying Steve since day before yesterday. Rajesh called to indicate that he would ride only if Steve was coming and I didnt have your number, so I have finally just accounted for 4 riders from Chennai and booked two rooms this afternoon. Please do call Nallathambi Lodge though immediately - 9443209842 Selvam. They have rooms available for Friday only and Sat is iffy.

We're planning to check-in Friday and do a Camel act for Saturday!

I think we will be joined by two more riders from Trichy - Bulleteers!!

Sad to know.. Take care..will pray for your faster recovery.. Make sure you are fit enought before you try riding again....
