My FZ's Rear tire is loosin pressure slowly... had this problem earlier due to a puncture leak but got it fixed before my Kolli Ride. Today again faced problem. Filled up air for now... got to check again in the morning....

Got to change the tyre or any other suggestions???

If the tire is new - done less than 12 - 15K kms, dont waste money on a new tire. Get this and use it: http://www.slime.com/product/74/Tire-Sealant.html. Am using it on my R15 rear. Pretty good. Got it from AMBAL for some 450 bucks IIRC. Check other Yamaha dealers/Tire shops as well. Problem is that however good the puncture is fixed, it does loose air slowly.

Check with any good shops like MRF (one near TCO) they shd fix any puncture.

i heard FZ alloy's are prone to get bent please spin it and check from rear side . cos bent alloy will allow air to pass thro.

As long as the tire is fixed/removed properly the alloy will not get bent. Even if it bends, its only from the beading area. The FZ alloy is way stronger than it appears or people think! I once got such a bend. Its easy to mend with a wooden block and hammer!

Even with 17K+, am pretty sure it will last another 5K - 6K. So dont bother, just use this sealant and enjoy.

Else, u can do what I do for my car tire. Take a thick rubber patch and stick it on the puncture area from inside the tire, like we do for tubed tires. That will seal the puncture permanently.

checked it up with the MRF tyres, they said the puncture wasnt fixed properly so the guy again put a mushroom punture by removing the tyre. he applied the feviquick around the punture inside the tyre so that it wont get free. Hope this should hold on for another 5-6km. If not will try the way u mentioned - a rubber patch.
