The Sunday evening GTG was good. Thanks to Ananth/Steve for calling for the meet and the later coming up with a choice (Flamingo!) for dinner.
Deepak (CBE) and myself joined Ananth and Yuvraj at Cozzee around 630 pm. There was one new member standing near the table, even before I got introduced, greeted me with a problem he is facing with Cops. Looks like he was caught over speeding. Also got to know that he did not wear helmet and when asked he said 'I live in this area'. Suddenly another guy (guess his friend) came to him had a quick word and both left the place, while I was still clueless as what's going on, they jumped into a another friend's vehicle and trio fled the scene.
Hope he searches the net for information on road safety and LEARN before he could be part of offline g2g meets.
Ram, Dev, Zaphod, Sunil and Steve joined and quickly decided to head towards Flamingo for dinner.

The usual meet point for the SBK groups is Mudaliyarkuppam on the ECR about 35kms after Mahabs on the way to Pondy. About 20 - 30 S-bikers meet there every weekend.
I think I saw that group too this morning around 0730 on the ECR when I was out for a ride with my wife. But I didnt see the Intruder.
Did get to see a couple of CBR 600's, R6's, a Blackbird and a solitary Harley (not sure which model) though at the Mamalla breakfast stop.
Next time you're in town, sms/pm me so that we can meet up!

Yelagiri Ride
Me and Pratheep back from the yelagiri ride on Monday early afternoon. It was much needed ride to test my bike and see if it can take up the bigger ride without any issues. Bike felt good and I cruised at 90/100 km/h all the way on the highway. I think good news is I can wait a bit more and then decide about my new bike as this ride is good enough for next 6 to 8 months.Nishant Kumar
Ride, eat, sleep...repeat.

Good to hear that you and Pratheep had been to Yelagiri. I guess you can wait a bit before you give up on Avenger.Originally posted by thegame0012 View PostMe and Pratheep back from the yelagiri ride on Monday early afternoon. I did my part by advicing the member Raging_Bull on the importance of wearing helmet / the gears again.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostThere was one new member standing near the table, even before I got introduced, greeted me with a problem he is facing with Cops. You're right. We can share experience and knowledge to improving the riding skills. It is expected that each rider should know the basic importance of wearing helmet. Sunday was the best example of least respect for road rules.Originally posted by Ananth View PostI did my part by advicing the member Raging_Bull on the importance of wearing helmet / the gears again.
