Newbies kindly go through

I would like to share a piece of information for the newbies that though there will be trips planned, it is highly expected that all the newbies attend short rides, meets before knowing yourself whether one would be able to go on a long rides.

There lot goes into long rides. Physical endurance, bike reliability and constant focus on the road. There is no short cut than testing ourselves on the road. So request you to be part of gathering and short rides.

Know your bike, troubleshooting, are some of the elementary and compulsory areas one should be good at.

Protection gears:- Check your wardrobe if you have riding jacket with protection for elbow and shoulders, gloves, knee guards and good helmet.

If you don't have any or missing few, kindly flip back pages to find the information or check "Riding gears' thread. You'll find many discussing in detail.

(I'm still tentative for any trips being planned in near future)

the only thing I am concerned is the weather and I am sure it is going to be really hot. I know people are going to lash out on me but just a suggestion - why not a trip in a cage(car) and we can enjoy mudhumalai /ooty to a greater extent if we did it in a car(safer in a car in the jungle). I have second thoughts about riding in the summer heat.
