I'm also planning to upgrade my helmet. I've narrowed it down to AGV K-3 (silver) (Rs.14,500) or Stealth Black (Rs.24,000).... They are available in ebay (Bachoo motors)... Or you can directly deal with Bachoo motors (mumbai)... they may even give you a discount in this case...

These helmet's are the genuine stuff...so comes at a premium price.

That might be a challenge, since I've been trying to get one for awhile.
Btw, Sree Padham also deals with Cross helmets which also look very well made. That said, even the LS2's that I've seen are very well made. They are a well-established Chinese brand that is being marketed by Vega. I think any of these will be worth the money.

Yes aargee, that's true... but, ARAI & Shoei are not readily available in India... One has to order them thru international websites (customs duty, shipping cost) or ask friends/relatives who are coming back from abroad to buy them.... lot more hassles & delays....

As i see it, these AGV's seems to be the only true international quality (USA DOT Certified) helmets available in India as of now...

Anyways, i've just ordered for AGV K-3 Silver helmet.... will receive it within the next 4 days...

Yap very true; I'm going thru their catalog now & I'm more than impressed. Looks like I've to increase my budget now ; no wonder AGV is being spoken all over xBhp.

Recently sold my Rx135 and got a Pulsar 180,

Wow! what an upgrade.

Damn me! have not realized what an idiot to keep my RX little over a decade instead giving it off !

1. Bought in 1998
2. Took it to Pune for studies
3. Took it to Hyd & Blr due to job
4. Got conned by mechanic, was in middle of nowhere, got help from xbhp
5. Brought to normalcy in 2009
6. Almost rebuilt in 2010

Not sure if passed on the word , but the chennai market is now deprived of AGV. I was able to find one at the shop near Pioneer, thousand lights, but it was not under my budget! LS2 and CROSS seem to be the only other options. How is GPR? IMHO the decals suck bigtime, but if they are good, might be worth investing.

Hope everyone celebrated their machines and weapons ( ... no pun intended) today!

^^^ Even i checked the GPR too before finalizing Cross. The designs looks out-dated & the lid too(IMO).

Where did you check it sriram? I got a cross lid from pioneer 1000 lights showroom for 1.9k. I also posted the pics in Helmets thread.
