Hey Guys,
Is there any plan for this weekend? This week I got only one day off on saturday due to medical leave which I took before, Am supposed to work for six days Grrr..

And if there is no G2G on saturday, Myself planned to go Early morning ride- Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary. I hope this will be the best season time to watch different kinds of birds and also to take few shots

Hello Avinash welcome to the chennai Xbhp .We can meet on mutually agreed time frame.
There are many things I like about the members in the Chennai Xbhp...They have immense passion for Biking, Love their Ride, and set themselves up as perfect example to other bikers....
Many here are very knowledgeable about Bikes and their engines...do a few rides with them and you will learn many things

Chennai riders

Let's close this year with a ride and welcome new year 2012.

Today Dinesh(Bikerfas) and myself had a small chat. Thought of sharing and taking this forward to rest of the group on the discussion we had.

Since many have expressed desire to do a single day ride, here are the options:-

1/1/2012 - it is likely many want to spend time with family. So 12/31 would ideally be the choice.

1. Few suggested that we visit some Children Home something like that and spending time with them and come back.
2. Ride to Pondy and probably getting to a some place spending time with the group and return. NH45 and ECR on return or viceversa. (Pondy or any other place where we can do decent ride say 100+ kms and return)

I'm game for either, however, want you guys let know which of these two two interested.

Newbies:- It's an opportunity to be part of this ride and watch out for the details. I hope many have already procured the protection gears, if not, kindly do so.

Was told to get in touch with you and i got my riding gear in good condition, except for knee pads. Is it mandatory too ?

Hey Guys,
Would it be ok to ride through OMR and catch the ECR after Kelambakkam?

Yes. That would be good but the road which connect Kelambakkam-ECR is somewhat OK. Try it once.

Ps: DO NOT TAKE THE ROAD after kelambakkam if you have to go to pondy or somewhere else. The roads are still village type & not good for sbk kinda bikes.

Raj, welcome to Xbhp. Call me Sriram/Sri. Knee pad/guard is important and do not give lame excuse to your protection.

@All:- Still recovering from last weekend spontaneous ride. Having some aches and mild fever, thanks to Chennai weather. Hopefully I'm ok for the coming weekend ride.

Finally, got my bike back from Jains Yamaha Service Center.

Sriram, count me in for this weekend ride. I prefer the second option (riding to Pondy and return).
