It is difficult to stick to any schedule in an unplanned ride ..so do give a write up about the adventure,change of plans midway and how both of you managed it...will be useful .

FYI.. As I posted earlier, newbies are requested to attend G2Gs and short rides so that they are considered for the tours.

What newbies needs to be part of group rides:-

Protection gears:-
1. Helmet
2. Gloves
3. Jacket
4. Shoes
5. Knee guard

Show up for the meets:-
1. Newbies are requested to be part of G2Gs when planned.
2. Participate in short rides
3. Interact with other members of the group
4. Basic riding ettiquette and follow traffic rules.
5. Punctuality.

Heard from a few folks that cops are stopping superbikers on the ECR. Any idea at which spots this is happening. My guesses would be at ECR-Link road junction, just before VGP towards Chennai, close to Mayajaal/MGM.

Would it be ok to ride through OMR and catch the ECR after Kelambakkam?

Friday evening i was on the ECR - I saw cops only on ECR - Sholinganallur Junction. I presume it should be OK if you take the OMR - Kelambakkam route.

But as a suggestion, why not somewhere else since ECR is not really conductive for the time being.

We had a lot of fun, come what may as we rode and it was all a pleasant experience.
