Went to MMSC race track today and was disappointed

From last weekend they aren't allowing anybody without full racing suit to ride on the track. And there are sessions for indian bikes and SBKs separately ie. half an hour time slot for indian bikes then the next half an hour for SBKs and so on. It is a good move

So all I could do was to click some pics of the SBKs and R15s.

I think what he meant is full racing suit = full gear

but a suit is a suit and gear is just gear.It'll be heart breaking for me atleast if that rule comes in.then maybe ill have to wait till i earn n take a loan to buy a suit

hey...will my touring suit be counted or they need leathers specifically?????....man m looking forward for more track days...

I had a proper riding jacket + knee guards + gloves. But i wasn't allowed. They said full suit. I think jacket + riding pants will do. Few were riding with some fire fighters kinda suits too!!! So all they need is a full suit whatever it may be!

well..i have a riding pant,shoes,jacket,gloves(all cramster)...hope they allow...

@ Guys : I Spoke to the people there, this decision has been taken after the Cali Superbike Racing School had come here.... They insist people to wear full riding gear for people to ride.... Sorry guys, our definition of fully geared up doesn't count on the track any more... People are getting more serious about racing, FINALLY !!!!....

However I feel they can allow track dayers to ride only with a jacket and knee sliders....

@all : Heard about yesterdays G2G, and a lot of un brotherly acts. I am not trying to support anyone here, however isolating a person out of the group is upto the group.... However i feel someone should have told the person not to come politely.... and not make him roam around and then go home....

XBHP - even a cyclist is welcome here, as long as he is on two wheels... BUt yesterdays act was completely unprofessional..... No Offense, but i somehow felt we all had more heart...

At the track I saw a kid riding ( less than 15 yrs) a R15 . His father was very supportive to him The kid was not a professional, he seemed to be learning to ride a bike. But on the track man!!!
