@Raghav, I remember sign boards indicating somewhere around 130 & also once I did Vellore Chennai in a little over an hour & I'm very sure I didn't clock in 140!!!

Motorcycle is serviced to my satisfaction; have done couple of ripping & sane ride & things are good. Have been able to do all the jobs except cleaning the muffler & water wash. I hope you read this Sri.

Good to know that you were able to complete cleaning job of carb, air filter and plug. If I'm not wrong, unusually saw your post at mid night and thought might have taken it up to complete before the ride (correct?)


Cleaning the silencer tube can also be done in your free time, I guess you can get it done before next week. It should not take more time.

Yeah, I stayed up till 1:30 last night & I'm already feeling sleepy.

^^^ childs play have been doing this since 97; thing is its not required now; ideally this should be done once in 20K kms; this one is hardly 12K on ODO

No IT is not; I fully support Kirosh here...
1. He has not collected money upfront for the trip
2. He has paid several Ks out of his pocket to book the resort a month ago
3. He's answerable to the resort guys besides managing the entire Chennai trip
4. It is very valid that he's taking such a decision at the right time, which is one week before the actual ride & obviously its for the benefit of all of us.

Cooperation is the least that we can do to show our support.

It is not a 'bit' harsh, but very rude! FYI, in other cities, we have induction rides for the newbies before they can join for any tour. And even the induction rides are restricted.

Over here, we need to see the faces behind these IDs and they too should get to know the other folks. It will help us bond well. On these lines, I don't think I am harsh.

And I am glad that you're IN.

@Aargee: Thanks for your support. More than the accounts and organizing part, all I want is to make people feel like they are no newcomers and make it enjoyable. And, to top it all, the safety aspect.

We had a good G2G. We rode to Vellore and then to Amrithi forest. NH, SH, village roads, water, off-road... we rode on everything! I will let the guys to do the talk.
