Hahaha...clean motorcycle & rain like each other. Unfortunately, I too didn't take my car out, so it me, RX & the rain & inbetween the so called rain coat for the pseudo protection.

I have nothing to say about the destination. If all of you are fine, I am game for anything. There are quite a few who want it to be short. Amriti or Gingee will be around 350 kms round trip. Hence the delay in finalizing. Do we have any other option? Anything ~100kms one-way?

If you are not specific to 100, a little over to 25 Kms more will be Vellore; Good choice, if we consider this as a rehersal ride.
Another option suggested was Tirupathi, a little over 40 Kms. Good choice as it gives the blend of highway & hill ride.
Another option was to Pulicat lake, but I'm not sure how much is the distance

Pulicat lake is less compared to Vellore or Thirupati. We had one G2G to Pulicat a couple of years back.
