Nice GTG
It was a Nice GTG. The weather premitted us to enjoy the short but a great ride and the tri-state GTG discussion with calm. learnt the group riding skills a bit. Thanks Kiran, Argee, Sriram, Tarun, cbz_etreme, Raghav for making to the G2G.
Thanks Tarun for the Ride, C5 is a really a classic.
Unfortunately no one has a cam so we had few pictures taken by Raghav, Tarun and cbz_etreme in thier mobile-cams.
edit: it was nice meeting you makky during our return.. hope you had some good time at the tracks.Last edited by bikerfas; 06-06-2010, 07:59 PM.

And you know the best part? The time!!! never knew time could fly so fast even with a bikers G2G. From the time I spoke to Makky & met him, I don't even have the track of time; I'm sure it was the distance of more than 50 Km through city/suburbs from the south end to the west end of this big city.Originally posted by bikerfas View Postedit: it was nice meeting you makky during our return.. hope you had some good time at the tracks.
Sorry Tarun for not mentioning earlier; Thanks so much for sharing the C5. I simply loved its 41Nm torque.Originally posted by bikerfas View PostThanks Tarun for the Ride, C5 is a really a classicLast edited by aargee; 06-06-2010, 08:18 PM.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Just got back in Pune. What a memorable first racing weekend this turned out to be and Kirosh you played such a big part in it. I cannot thank you enough for all your help and support. You are a true biker in every sense of the term.
And a big thanks to Tarun and Mikky too for sticking around for the entire day, for being the first ones to give me the good news that I finished 5th in the 2nd race
and for helping Sushil and I get back to our homes.
Sajiv, his brother and Jeeva- It was awesome to finally ride with you guys. Look forward to seeing on the track for the next round.Watch my Baby R1 clock 148kmph at http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=cAHbYl...e=channel_page.

Nice meeting you bikerfas! Yeah, the day at the track was a mixture of all!Originally posted by bikerfas View Postedit: it was nice meeting you makky during our return.. hope you had some good time at the tracks.
Mention not brother! I lost my lost way while going back too!!Originally posted by Tarc View PostAnd what a day it was at the track (of course, i was only cheering

I then took a road to Kanchipuram, then to Tindavanam and to my place via Auroville!!
180kms instead of 135kms!! It was a non-stop run. I had to ride in the rains too on top of the that. What a day!!
Hey Sagar! It was a pleasure to meet you!Originally posted by SAGARR_46 View PostJust got back in Pune. We had a nice time with you out there.
Congratulations once again for finishing 5th. Qualify onto a better position next time and we will be seeing you on the podium!!
@Kirosh.. It was great meeting you, brother! Hope to 'catch you more' in the future.
@ aargee, CBZX, Raghav, SriramEFunds.. Even though the meet was short, it was good!
I am still not able to forget Satish's crash!(The rider on 69, 600cc)!

It was a great Sunday. The weather god favored us through the morning. We (aargee, bikerfas, tarc, SriramEfunds, felix.raghav, and cbz_xtreme) had a good ride to Vallakkotai and had a good discussion about the trip and other biking-related stuff. Got to ride aargee's RX for a couple of KMs. We were lucky enough to catch Makky enroute to breakfast. Post breakfast, it was Tarun, Makky, and I heading to the track.
Although the whole of Chennai would have thanked the weather god for rains, it was not the case at MMSC.
The races were stopped and there were almost to be called-off. But luckily, the sun came out and the track condition improved. The strong breeze made it even enjoyable. It was fun watching all the races.
SAGARR_46 was racing in the R15 novice category. He started 14th and finished 5th!! Congratulations, Sagar! And it was great meeting you!
Special thanks to Tarun (tarc). From 5:00am to 10:30pm, he was there giving me company! No complaints, no demands. Kudos, brother!
It was good meeting you all! Cheers!
P.S.: Makky, a small correction. It wasn't me who was guiding you.

Infact I got to understand a lot in group riding & the best part? I never knew that Sriperambadur is so close!!! rather...the difference was in group riding. Never felt so confident. Looking forward to another group ride this weekend.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

I felt no difference Raghav. I usually ride to office everyday & this has been the condition for several months (70 X 22 X 6)!!! I feel no difference, but I prefer changing the front suspension before the ride as I like to eliminate the chance of any issues with front suspension. Not sure if I'll be able to do it.
PS to U & Sriram - Something really wrong is going with my life; like yesterday the supply being cut off during refuel, this morning both car & motorcycle's tires went flat!!! Still keeping my fingers crossed to join the ride; I'll pay, if I don't join, I'll not whine either!!! That's my life!!!Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

It was a small but wonderful G2G. Experienced PRO's sharing the basics of motorcycling and group riding. Thank you all for the info.
We did riding on NH's and some off-roading.
I have PM you my details. Please check the same and give me a reply.Originally posted by felix.ragav View PostWhat a G2G guys.... Awesome Ride mate. Ill post the Pics soon. P.S. Dinesh has suggested a place in chennai where good biking gloves are available. Pm me if anyone else is interested in a group buy. We can negotiate for a special price if the numbers are good.
Thank you for you comments SIR.Originally posted by aargee View PostA great G2G; Thanks Kiran for arranging & thank to members who attended. Tarun, C5 is a C5 man!!! Thanks for the ride.
There's one info that I didn't tell over there, cbz_extreme & Sriram, man you guys learned the group ride in no time; frankly speaking, I learned by observing your initial ride. As Praful/John said, its only the common sense thing & nothing more. I've to really agree on this one here.
Anyway, the G2G was fantastic; but I feel Sriperambadur was such a short distance...hehehe
It was fun riding with you. But after you left, I got stuck in the rain. Didn't cross 50kmph.
You said it. The rain was not too fast nor slow.Originally posted by felix.ragav View PostThe rains were absolutely mindblowing! Sorry for the delay guys. Having a Hangover is simply not fun!!!
Will we be having another G2G this week end..?Originally posted by aargee View PostInfact I got to understand a lot in group riding & the best part? @Makky: Great 2 see you mate. That F-16 sticker in my bike made you recognize me.
Hope to see you in the next G2G.
I'll post the photos, once I'm at home.CBZ Xtreme
