Airport to track is about 30 Kms. If you know any aquintance in Chennai, you can stay with them to work out cheaper. The track is located in Irunkattukotai which is industrial area; not sure if you can find accomodation near by. You may want to stay in the city, say Koyambedu or somewhere & then make your way to track, as it is one straight road from Koyambedu to the track.

@aargee- Thanks for the info man. The problem is that I'll be flying down with 2-3 of my friends. So I am not sure, if we can all crash at the acquaintance's house for the night.

Ok, then try staying near the airport, may be all of you can share the expense for 1/2 nights then. If not close to the airport, you've lots of accomodation in the 100 feet road like Radha Park inn, Ambica Empire; Finding an accomodation is not that difficult as you can find most of the accomodation between the airport-accomodation-track - all in one way.

Not sure about 14th. But track is free on 6th and 7th.

where do you live in chennai?

I got it from a Motul distributor in gopalapuram, they can be found near the second roundtana from satyam cinemas(exit gate).

also available in retail in Marudhar automobiles near 13th main rd, annanagar
