can someone tell me the basic rules or requirements for attending track day?? all i have is a helmet.. can i rent the gear @ the track??

We cannot rent riding gears at track dude. We have to bring in ours. If you guys need to understand more about the basic things to be followed, pls visit the thread by wonderboy in motorsports section.

Quick question: Is it true that the track now only allows bikers with full leathers? Earlier we were allowed on with armour\riding jackets+knee pads. Has this changed?

Now who said that ?? armour\riding jackets+knee pads+gloves+ helmet is still allowed. Only thing is, all those who were using the above said combination have now shifted to Full race leathers

and guys. we would be riding down on saturday itself, need accommodation, are there any decent/cheap hotels nearby where we can crash.

I don't have a camera so unless i can borrow someones i think I'll have to use my paper one

And you don't have to worry, IMO the track is the safest place to learn how to ride, so if you stick to some very basic and simple ground rules, you'll be instantly hooked.

Just one question on tyres & tracks - assume I make about 10 laps, will wear out my tyres faster in track compared to the same amount of distance on normal roads?
