got some personal work so wont be able to do a 2 day trip so planning to do two day trips

yet to decide... probably will do it on friday i think. its going to be a day trip. Leh sure not this year.

@ all - since i see all are interested for ride this weekend. the better place to meet and discuss abt the experiences of Leh and other bike stuffs would be in ECR. as steve was mentioning Tiger's cave is a good place to ride and discuss. else if all are interested we do another 30km ride down from tigers caves to Sadras Dutch Fort in kalpakkam. Its a small and old fort, which is now restructured or renovated by the archealogical dept. just we can ride there spend some time there and then have breakfast on the way.

Wouldn't the fort be a bit too hot? I thought Tiger Cave would be more pleasant / relaxing than the fort. Just my opinion.

Read closely. Its also meant to thwart bike racing and stuff. We once turned up there in the evening and we were pestered by the traffic police there. Whats more, they thought that my lens and cam was some kinda surveillance equipment! Besides we really do not want people staring at us with suspicion. When we turn up, we do sample bikes of others. This will lead to problems... I for one do not want to be a magnet for this kinda stuff!
