The Official Chennai Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

The main agenda of this meet is to discuss about the Yercaud trip. Other than that, I don't have anything specific. And I want people who have confirmed to come for this.

Kiran, I will not be able to attend this meet. My wife is flying to chicago this weekend & i need this day for her, I shall call you later to know if there are any important updates. Pardon me for this.

@Sriram & @Raghav - Guys, extremely sorry, the rebuild WILL TAKE TIME & the reason is I don't want to hurry up. I've made up my mind to ride to Yercaud with the semi broken motorcycle (semi broken in form of side shield & nothing with motor) & join the fast riding group

I've made up my mind to ride to Yercaud with the semi broken motorcycle (semi broken in form of side shield & nothing with motor) & join the fast riding group

A semi-broken motorcycle? That sends chill down my spines. Kindly try to fix things up and make sure your bike is 100% fit to sustain a 800 kms ride. Personally, I wouldn't want you, or anyone for that matter, to ride a long distance if the bike has some issues.

@Kiran - its a dependable motorcycle, its RX, I'll be replacing few parts internal parts before the ride. The cosmetics may be deceiving, but the ride will be pleasing.

Sounds good! There is no doubt about the capability of an RX, it is a legend. My worry was about the rebuild thingy still in progress. Anyways, as far as the ride is good, I am not going to whine.

If not proper riding gear, helmet and shoes are mandatory for tomorrow's G2G.

What a G2G guys.... Awesome Ride mate. Ill post the Pics soon. As of now i'll hit the bunk after lunch. Thanks Kiran, Sriram, Aargee,Dinesh,Tarun and Deepak. I Had Problems driving in the rain, but it helped judge my endurance and taught me a lesson or two about riding!

P.S. Dinesh has suggested a place in chennai where good biking gloves are available. Pm me if anyone else is interested in a group buy. We can negotiate for a special price if the numbers are good.

A great G2G; Thanks Kiran for arranging & thank to members who attended. Tarun, C5 is a C5 man!!! Thanks for the ride.
There's one info that I didn't tell over there, cbz_extreme & Sriram, man you guys learned the group ride in no time; frankly speaking, I learned by observing your initial ride. As Praful/John said, its only the common sense thing & nothing more. I've to really agree on this one here.

Anyway, the G2G was fantastic; but I feel Sriperambadur was such a short distance...hehehe
