Terribly sorry for the delay. GOt stuck at work. I'll have to run down to ritchie st tomo after office and get a cable and conversion pin. Expect pics by sunday. My bike has clocked morethan 1.5k kms after last service. will ride out only after i get my tappet fixed. Im also planning for full DC conversion. Ill finish by next week so if next sunday is OK we can have a small ride. But with petrol prices going up, ill stock up in a jerrycan first

Shop in tambaram-selaiyur he has petronas 2000 but he can buy 5000 if i ask. AGIP he has already

he saying i got 1 crate of AGIP all sold in a jiffy. So lets plan guys.... if we get in bulk we can ask for more discount.

Just wanted to let you guys know what I'm planning. After the engine built up, I'm planning to use one of the cheapest engine oil say, Mak or something equivalent for about 1000 Kms. After that I'll be switching to Shell Helix Ultra. I was also being told that the engine oil changing intreval for Helix Ultra is around 15K Kms!!! Not sure though

Its specifications... JASO MA , SAE ,API should be there to be used in motorcycle engines.

Also car engine oil is not advisable to be used for wet clutch gear box of bikes. It will ruin engine and clutch plates for sure.

Well, I guess it didn't matter as long as we're using it in the Gasoline engine. Anyway, the guy at Shell told me specifically that they tried Helix Ultra with 7 of their customers & observing the oil performance. What do you think? Should I stay away?

You Better Stay away... getting a good oil for your 2-stroke bike is the prob right... i will PM a number... oil shop owner... he has 2-stroke motul fully synth. What say ?
i saw those cans when i went there yesterday. if you want i can call and get the details.

Sounds good, but I've a bad attitude that i developed recently to understand & get things done rather than doing it blindly. Let's switch our discussion to Engine Oil Thread. I'm glad to discuss this with you over there & avoiding the OT. What say?
