Problem with R15

Hello all,
I have experienced a problem with Yamaha R15 of mine ... I did not use the bike for a week and then rode on it from my home to office. My home is at Vijayanagar and my office is in ITPL(White Field) ...

Forward journey was fine.. but while returning, the YELLOW light(engine heat up signal) turned on. There was terrible traffic on the way back, and I had to travel in 1st gear / 2nd gear for the most part. The engine had heated up big time. I thought I should allow it cool down. I waited until the yellow warning light went off. I reached home somehow. One day later, I again went to work and while coming back, I experienced the same problem.

This time, the electric start went for a toss... no warning lights,.. the entire console was off... I had to push down and start the vehicle in 1st gear.

Did any of you guys had similar problem with BIKE? Please share your thoughts .. I am going to Orion motors (kormangala) on this sat to get this fixed.

looks like your battery is drained .i'm not sure, not a R15 user myself.
try the R15 threads.

check ur battery n charging tool ( i dont know how can call it.. it is small n near battery) , dude... if u couldnt switch light, horn, start electric, signal...

route wud be bangalore-tumkur-chitradurga-bhadravati-arsikere-tumkur-bangalore, start around 4.00pm from banaglore, return by early morning next day, as a group of RE bikers we have earlier done 875 kms in 20hrs via sringeri route, crossing chikmagalur-belur and return to bangalore

sorry to disappoint you dude..i don't own an RE so guess that doesn't include me into the RE club...but anyways ..im planning to drive down to pune in my pocket rocket (R15) on the 5th of March. I guess I'm free after that if you plan something..
