I am fed up of searching too. There is nothing online. I bought the Indian Express 1st thing in the morning. There is just a picture on page 1 of Pune Newsline with the aforementioned caption. No article / column / side note.Originally posted by niks_devil666 View Post

I goofed up with the flyers, rather the agency who printed them did. They mixed the Stuntmania Creatives with the Helmet awareness ride. I wont blame them entirely too since we got everything done on Thursday and Friday.
I would like to forget the bad stuff which happened in this rider simply because it would escalate things between different entities to an ugly level, whats done is done, in the end the ride would have done some good.

First of all.. there was nothing in the flyers which would highlight helmet awareness. The 2 words "Helmet" & "Awareness" were not written anywhere in the flyer together. All they wanted to promote was xBHP and xBHP pledge.
If you really want to bring awareness to the masses, the flyers should have been in 2 languages.. English and marathi. We dont want just the "English Speaking" population of Pune to wear helmets. A story of the R15 fellow how was hit by a stone on his head on the 1st day he got his bike on the flyer would have been good content (of course with his permission).
Finally, wheelieboy I think has done other events, and he understands the importance of getting your event talked about over the local FM radio. That was absent too. (I mean even we had arrangements for our College events with Radio Mirchi Pune.) How do you plan to bring awareness by only riding around on the road on a sunday when almost 65% of the people don't even leave their homes. How is it that even guys from association like PARA don't have any contacts with radio people (Or they didn't bother to use them). To top it all, the paper covering us doesn't even bother to give us a side note.
Anyways, the arrangements for the bikers were well made. Thanks to the efforts of Moto Cafe management. But i feel the event could have done much better in terms of reaching the people, the masses of Pune if a little care was taken in planning.
I hope these points would be considered if and when more such events/rides are arranged in the future. This was my 1st xBHP G2G / Ride and the above was what I truly and frankly found amiss. And i dont want people to feel I am just whining or crying. I would be happy to contribute in whatever way possible to any of the future events.
Finally, I feel, though the event was succesfully conducted, it could have done much better than it did.

That is Dissapointing and not acceptable, these sort of things have become the norm rather than exceptions and unintended mistakes.

u know what i was expecting this.... bt nt to worry... i m satisfied thinking that i did some good for the biking fraternity.....Originally posted by antz.bin View PostWhat the F!!! No mention of xBHP / xBHPians. Totally not acceptable. I mean.. weren't we the majority of the no.s?
