Better check well before using sharp words. Anand has clearly mentioned the source of article in his first post.

Shreeni,

Facts are facts and there's little to change that. Heck - Anand never bothered to fully attribute till Doc Rao's post. FWIW - Anand's apologised to Vandit back on Bikeszone.

That said, you comment nothing on the fact that the article wasn't properly attributed. Or you think that's cool and the way it should be? And the guy who points out the logical fallacy & the actual facts should be chided for language, instead of giving credit where its due.

+100

Plagiarism doesn't fly Shreeni. And a 'courtesy BikesZone' somewhere at the bottom of a 3500-word post does NOT constitute a citation. Read this if you're inclined - Citation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

If you want to be hardline about it, the very least you could have done Anand, would have been to simply post the link at the very top of your post and then, having done so, copied the content below. And of course, to not accept credit for it from the numerous people who followed.

In the end, its just downright rude and rather pathetic. Somebody (Vandit in this case) took a lot of effort to write that and to pass it off as your own is just not cool man..

Personally, I think we tend to be way too accepting of plagiarism in this country. Not just online, but in print too.

Default Advice Needed

Just want to enquire about the price of rim of Atlas ATB 26X.75 because 2 years before I had an accident in which the front rim was completely bent ,so now iam thinking of retaining it its original look(please note that my cycle is 6 years and10 months old which i bought when i was in 7th standard ,its cost was rs3200)also suggest a digital speedo in range of rs600 and note that my cycle is still in a good condition

How is BSA Mach1? My intended use is only on tarmac for exercise only.

mach 1 with a 22" frame comes with a straight top bar....the 18" model comes with a tapering bar, which spoils the look, but buy the 22" frame size only if it suits u.mach 1's frame is suited for normal ride, not for long rides.

I bought the BSA Mach 1 bike. Rode it from the shop to my home. Feels great.
