Will change stem, handlebar, seat post, saddle to carbon fiber parts. Will change groupset from current Shimano Claris to Shimano Ultegra. Wheels will be upgraded to Mavic 40mm aero wheels. Tyres willl be Continental GP5000s. I am expecting a weight loss from current 11.5kgs to 8.5kgs.

That should make the SCR around 8.5kgs, very close to performance of superbikes which cost 2.5-3L. I should then ride for atleast a decade. These upgrades will be rolled out slowly over an year's time.

Upgrade should cost around 1L as everything will be brought in EU and brought my friends and family.

Over time like after 5 years i should have the funds to buy a proper aero frame made of carbon fiber and swap these high end parts to that frame. So will never be a bad investment. :-)
Congrats bro - nice bike and you seem to have a clear cut plan and over the year or so when you would finally have all the parts and then finally the frame upgrade I see you would have ridden a few thousand kms and would have lost another 20kgs or so. Man and machine both getting fitter and faster. Wish you all the best and ride safe.

Thanks buddy. Hopefully that plan works out without any issues.

Purpose. What terrain do you want to use it for? The general-use categories are road (as in recreational), off-road (also recreational, but also utilitarian), and urban (utilitarian). For example, if you want to commute, a $3,000 road bike with and Ultegra component set and a carbon frame/fork combo may not be the best choice for multiple reasons.

Budget. How much do you want to spend? Is it disposable income? This determines the general quality of the components and frame. There is a bare minimum requirement for quality that differs for all people, but on the whole, you should have a 'rock bottom standard' for the bikes you consider; if a bike cannot meet that criteria, then it is not something you should buy. This is directly related to...

Goals. How much time do you want to spend on the bicycle? The less quality time you want to spend on the bike, the less you should spend on it.

Thanks for the advice! Ive been buying random bikes for 5 years now. The ones that I dont work out with me I just sell them back and the ones that I keep are in my garage in a bike rack. My bikes look more organized because of the rack. If anyone is looking to get a bike rack, you should read this article.
