I just rode the hercules Act in the Kangra valley in Himanchal. It is a horrible bike. Its a waste of money. If you are buying it for city purposes only, then its fine. While off roading twice my brakes failed. Once I almost went off the cliff and the next day I crashed into a Sumo at speed. The rear suspension is useless and nothing but an added weight. If you are seriously interested in cycling, then I would suggest saving up money and buying a proper bike. Those which cost around 20k are very good entry level bikes.
Hope this helpsBiking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

My mistake. It was not a hybrid. It was an MTB. And it was an Act Ryder. But it was an older model, with disc brakes on front and rear. Now I just checked the site and that model is not there anymore. The closest model which I can find in their current portfolio is Hercules Roadeo A-100.
Sorry have not ridden the Act 110

Hey Guys, My budget is around 7K, which bike i should go for.
Today I saw Roadeo Turner ( new model ), After discount its around 6.8K. Had a ride of it around 1 KM, and appeared fine to me.
My Basic use is for Office Commuting.
Any other around this price range. please suggest.
I am Noob in this category.

Hello All,
So after much hassle/Tassle got the Hercules Ryders Neo ( which is recently Launched ). Since i was tight on budget, so this was the best in the price range which i can buy ( after consulting other Forums).
Got it Assembled in front of me, and rode it to my house ( ~4 Kms ) in 15 mins flat. Was amazed to see how agile and light it is while riding. ( PS: its weight somewhere around 10-11Kgs )
Today, rode it from House to Office ( ~11 Kms ) in around 40 mins, which as per my standard is not bad. ( since i am riding it after so many years )
I was overwhelmed with this machine, and thanks to Hercules for making this amazing product.
