hey guys i need some help , planning to buy a cycle within 10k . suggest me a good one .? planning to start cycling all again after 5 years and few of my friends suggested me firefox dart 2.6 with disc and hercules act 110 . which one is better ?

if you ride primarily on tarmac a hybrid will serve your purpose more.so go for act 110.those suspension in firefox dart doesn't help in comfort and handling if you are riding on city streets,rather they increase dead weight.a disc break is a good feature to have but not necessary.

The Monk

I just rode the hercules Act in the Kangra valley in Himanchal. It is a horrible bike. Its a waste of money. If you are buying it for city purposes only, then its fine. While off roading twice my brakes failed. Once I almost went off the cliff and the next day I crashed into a Sumo at speed. The rear suspension is useless and nothing but an added weight. If you are seriously interested in cycling, then I would suggest saving up money and buying a proper bike. Those which cost around 20k are very good entry level bikes.

you should have used a mtb,act is hybrid,not meant for off-roading.

act is good buy,not to worry.yeah the rear suspension does add up weight,if you want a vfm buy bsa mach .

There is no rear suspension in act 110 i guess
