Ok, going ahead with that?

Hey, why cant we use the APE RR and wind the whole poles with a 19g and make it full DC. Cost will be 1100/- RR+ 500=1600 for coil rewinding against the suggested coil 1690+ AC regltr 303+ RR 560=2553? I think its possible here too. Be the first who converted to full dc using APE RR.

And how about starting the bike ? I don't think it has any thing called CDI !!

Trying to convince Dad to go ahead with it bcz that is the only place where I can do some DIY

Its got a capacitor and the so called CB point to do that. Its the first CDI system in most of the bikes that times AFAIK

I still believe that will work here too.

Hows the new ride man?

how about the latest gen ignition system from newer bulls and the go with ape and coil rewinding..the newwer bulls having a huge 18 poles stator, imagine that with rewinded with 17 gauge ,yes 17!the voltage will be 13+ because of the sheer length of the wire from 18 poles and imagine atleast of 15+amps on the tap!!

At the max I can put 14aH battery, so I don't want 15aH from coil
And I am trying to keep the budget as low as possible. I just want 1 HID to run flawlessly. Not multiple canons like you have
