Default Change of silencer for a NEW royal enfield bullet 350 UCE

Hi All,

I will get the delivery of my bullet 350 UCE in Sep-10 and I plan to change the silencer. After a lot of research and asking around, I have decided to go for a short bottle silencer.

The question is - should I get the silencer changed at the time of delivery itself, OR should I wait for the run-in period of around 6 months (or 5000 km)?

Cheers!
Anand

Default Not the upswept, I am looking forward for short bottle one

Hi All,

Thanks for your advice!

Why not goldstar - I think primarily because I find goldstar sound too loud.

BTW I am not looking for changing to upswpt one (the one that comes for C500).

The question was - should I change the silncer immediately - i.e. at the time of delivery, OR should I wait for run-in period to be over....

Best regards,
Anand

yes wait for run in period and then go for mods happy thumping(after a couple of months) It's said the short bottle seriously affects top-end even though you get a decent low-end torque think and decide many may disagree this but the fact

If I do not want this to be affected, then which one would you suggest ? Goldstar?

BTW I came across this Sans Inc. Goldstar silencers. They are fitted with conical baffles. The sound is quite nice.
Any idea on performance of the bike with those?
