Default 500kms

Friends,
Just touched 500kms
Here are my views:
1.As many people have shared, me too have the cold start problem
2.manouverability and pick-up good for city riding
3.had a unique problem: when I am dirctly switching on the headlight(without the intermediate parking lamp), then the speedometer console backlight is not getting switched on.I need to go stepwise.Did anybody experienced this problem?

Long time back replying this thread,
My Bike has become a S**t, No maintenance of whatsoever, its been 6 months since i showed her servicing and cleaning, returning only 30KM mileage,,,,,,

In this situation what would be the best idea, throw her away and buy a new ride, or get her some rework and bring her back to life,

I need some suggestions,,,,,,,,To be frank I hate her But still suggestions are welcome

^^ @Thunder, just saw this thread now.. seems you are this thread starter and in 1st page you have given a wonderful review of Flame describing every bit- I wonder what made you to lose your love towards your ride?

Maybe you can service/spend time with your ride and I am sure you'll start loving again

Basic reason is Mileage which is pathetic Even CDR250 gives 30,,,,,,, and my bike gives only 25or 30.....
Second reason is Love towards Bigger Bikes,,,,,,,, These are the only two reasons.......

But again when i turn back and see,,,,, yes i loved this bike every Bit and Piece of it,,,,,,,,,, Thanks for the encouragement, let me plan for to bring this bike back to work.........

hai Thunder..
Like Vineshp..me too came to know you are the thread starter..Try to keep your bike man..
My suggestion is, if your are planning for bigger bikes then go for that..But keep this bike because you wont get much resale value for this model..

After lot of thoughts and advices i have planned to keep the bike,,,,, and got it serviced recently,,,,,, Everything is working fine but only the Mileage Problem,, Guess what even TVS has stopped this pathetic bike from production,,,,,

The exchange rate of this bike with Apache is just 20K....... im pissed off

Here's the New Pic of the bike.....

As the production has stopped, spare parts must be difficult to find.... About milage,I had the same problem in my 5 years old "Star City"it was giving me only around 50 kmpl... Tried at every ASS,and finally got back the proper tuning and milage back to 65 kmpl.... So check with every mechanic, and see,who can tune it perfectly. Its real pain to find gud mechanic for these outgoing models... I still dont understand, why TVS still has a display Flame at Auto expo..
