It costed 250 for me - both for the cover and fitting - But now i've removed it........

Its something hard for the Pillion to rest...... and that too for lean skinned persons......its really hard.....

Im getting a mileage of about nearly 55 in city ridings.....though im a harsh rider....so its comparatively low....its due for second service.....

And im facing some issues like
            Head breaking - Coldstart problem
            Footpegs - vibrations
            Useless Kick start....

How about u mate - hope ur Flame is good........

hey i get pretty much the same mileage as u..keeps varying between 50-55 for me..and i ride harsh too..i used to get like 35kmpl before..but it improved after the 2nd servicing.

The footpeg vibrations are just pathetic man !!!
above 60kmph it feels like they'r gona fall off from under my feet.
every flame has that problem though..i spoke to 3-4 other guys with flames here..n they complain bout that too..the tvs servicing peeple cant do anything bout it either..the bike is jus made like that.. used to get bad handlebar vibrations too above 50..but they fixed that after the 2nd servicing.

my kickstart is fine though..just takes 1kick wid choke in the morning to start the bike up..but by evening the electric start just doesnt work..

besides that the bike is awsome. damn stable and accelaration has improved greatly after the 3rd servicing it reaches 60+ kmph in very less time..iv topped it at 102kmph recently when id gone for a bike trip..

                Yep
Im also having all the same problems of your.....
Yes its a common issue with all the flames......
Mine is short of the second service and i belive TVS Guys can resolve my issues in the second service.........

Im also getting top wack of 102KM with an 80kg pillion - yet to check with single riding conditions.....

And i like its stability in top wack - less vibrations and feels somewhere you ride in just 70kms.....

Besides the Tank storage is of great use - where never ever a manual geared bikes can have........it helps in emergency conditons also.....

Is it possible to add an Extra Sparg Plug in this Flame........!!!!!

Hi Guys. Nice to be here as a part of the TVS FLAME TEAM. I bought my 3rd Bike from the TVS Stable and this time it is a BLACK TVS FLAME. I bought it during Sep'08 and its already clocked 3000kms. A great experience with this bike. Hope I can share a lot here in this place, both technically as well as emotionally.

Thanks Thunder, Hope we both r on the same page as well as pace. I'm a city rider and travel 40+ kms everyday. The overall experience is great. Except for very minor negatives. The horn is one of the concern. Planning to change it with a Dual Roots Windtone 4 A horns and with a Dual MICO Mini-Vibro 2.5 A. Planning to use a simple ROOTS cut-out. (I was using it with my Samurai Earlier). Guess 4 A windtone might be heaier for the Batt. Hope you have also moved on to a different pairs of horns. Wish if you could share those details. Thanks

TO be in surprise - i havent changed to any special Horn - i just throwed away the RoadRunner Buzzer and installed a Mono Pulsar Horn.....

You can see in my pics - the silver ringed Mono Horn....
It does the job well - and usually i wont use horns much.....

Im also thinking of to move for air horns - but to be frank i dont needs it much in city riding conditons.....

Thanks. Yes I could see that in your pics. Though I dont need it often, but guess I want to be heard better. Will probably fix one and come out with some inputs for our other friends here. Might be of some use.

Dear All, I have upgraded my horn with Roots windtone 4A dual horns. And its amazing and powerfull enough to turn heads. Though I dont use them often, except on an emergency need, it works out well. Atleast now the drivers of our City Buses give ear to them.

                              Orange ---- Blue ---- Yellow.......
