Default Yamaha Enticer

Hi, Fellow xbhpians,

Since No one is posting their ownership reviews with regards to Gladiator ,I thought I will just post mine on enticer.

I own Yamaha enticer & this is with regards to my ownership experience with it.

I bought it 2003 sep and is still with me till date with odometer doing close to 40K for 6 months the odometer was not working I think it should be close to 52-55K kilometers till now , mostly done on city riding office to & fro, with occasional weekend blast on stretch of highway, as you all know it’s has Yamaha YBX engine but more refined manner, the new gladiators also have same engine but are hell lot refined with 5 gears.

Average 35-40Max on 1L

Anyway I bought this bike for it’s comfort level & sheer pleasure of riding in relax manner, It does go fast can hit a ton mark given a stint , but that’s not it was designed for keep it under 80, say 75 , and u can ride her all day long without any problems.

The enticer I have it has no disc brakes , no electric starter, but then I really never felt the need of it, it has enough of LET (Low End torque) so driving in city , specially traffic is no problem at all. I would say it’s more of Commuta-Cruiser lol.

When I bought it, people would just glare , it was a head turner for it’s time. Specially for the fairer sex.

It’s been more than 5yrs now , my steed still does her job & I love her for that, ride her in her limits she respects you, try riding her like RX , soon you will know where you will land up.

Attached pics of my steed……..in following weeks to come shall upload pics of My New Yamaha R15

waiting for more experience records with enticers. here in my town ,there are quiet a few enticer's which are maintained fine by their owners.also ,selling enticer is not worth it due to its very low price in used market.

Yamaha Enticer that i owes is one of the fabulous bike that i have ever seen.

100% Comfort to rider and for pillion.

95% Control & perfect ride in rainy seasons.

Acceleration and Speed is fairly good.

Still posses an attractive look and turns the head around on road.

Perfect Ride for Highways.

Less Maintenance.

Some Tiny issues.

Back side indicators jerks a little and creates some sound especially on bad roads.

Less Mileage(and u should not expect a good one from a cruiser bike)

I did 60,000 k.m. on my Enticer and never regret about it.Its a mindblowing bike.

If im Right Enti is an 125cc right....

Yes it was one of my dreams when i was doing my Schooling....and i loved to own this bike once i grow up...
But unfortunately it was out of production when i was about to buy a Bike...
It would be good if Yamaha Reincarnate this Product and release it again with an more refined Engine and Mileage.......

+1 mate.. but 125cc aint enough, make it at least 200cc with around 18 to 20bhp with enough torque with the same design, tubeless tyres & rear disc it would be a wonderful cruiser..
