waiting for more experience records with enticers. here in my town ,there are quiet a few enticer's which are maintained fine by their owners.also ,selling enticer is not worth it due to its very low price in used market.

Yamaha Enticer that i owes is one of the fabulous bike that i have ever seen.

100% Comfort to rider and for pillion.

95% Control & perfect ride in rainy seasons.

Acceleration and Speed is fairly good.

Still posses an attractive look and turns the head around on road.

        Perfect Ride for Highways.

        Less Maintenance.

        Some Tiny issues.

Back side indicators jerks a little and creates some sound especially on bad roads.

Less Mileage(and u should not expect a good one from a cruiser bike)

I did 60,000 k.m. on my Enticer and never regret about it.Its a mindblowing bike.

It would be good if Yamaha Reincarnate this Product and release it again with an more refined Engine and Mileage.......

+1 mate.. but 125cc aint enough, make it at least 200cc with around 18 to 20bhp with enough torque with the same design, tubeless tyres & rear disc it would be a wonderful cruiser..

BTW wasnt the rear taillight and body section prone to rattling??? Dint Yamaha bring out some mod for it?

good to see a enticer thread up.I had mine for all my college years.it is one of the most comfortable bike I've ridden. Also the bike is a very stable i never had a skid or fishtailing even with sudden braking.but i sold it off as i wanted an upgrade.but still i curse myself for picking this instead of a RXZ with disc brakes which was of the last batch being sold with a catalytic converter
I bought the Ninja 250R !!.....And then i woke up :(

I have been riding my black Enticer for a good 7.5 yrs now! No disk brakes or self-start..

It's been a comfortable ride no doubt - especially with the mini-ape handlebars and foot-pedals!
While with any bike there are problems, I noticed an issue with the rear-tyre braking which does skid towards the right on occasions when I brake suddenly.. It probably is just a maintenance issue but I guess this hardly affects riding in the long run as I have at all times been able to maintain control of the bike.

Still its given me countless pleasant rides and I am so glad that I still have it! \m/

How is the availability of spare parts? Like say, if the bore-case or the piston set needed replacement, are they available? Or if any panel needs changing? How about the rear tyre? Is the 16" tyre still available?

I am planning to pick one up for myself for the heck of it and I was wondering if I pick an old one and restore it with some original parts.

                              Hi Prajwal,

My Enticer's side-panels need changing as the plastic as there are some cracks and scratches on it.. The fuel tank and tail have a lot of scratches too..
Not sure about spare parts but as Yamaha stopped production in 2005-6 I think it may be difficult to get a hold of some parts..

Anyways I plan to "re-design" the bike and give it a bobber-look.. I have started 2 threads to discuss the same:

I plan to start with the modifications by mid-Feb.

                              Thanks.
