Well.. you don't need to coz who cares where it came from first.. Yamaha made it popular in today's motorcycling world by putting it in the M1 & refining it to the level it can be but to a street bike. The reviews of some famous mags & sites.. as refered by Suren, don't really matter in the racing world, coz R1 is still winning more races than Blade, GSXR & ZX-10r & RSV4 in WSBK.!!

And about the R1 winning races ! If u accept that the 2004 GP championship was won because of Rossi ! Then these SBK races are won cos of Ben spies ! Proof : Just look at the grid ! how many R1 s do u find ? And the other Tom Sykes ! just try to know more about him ! He s as good as the other guys like Smrz,LAconi etc ! but where is he ? The new R1 is only as good as he is right now ! or else he ll be fighting with the private team guys like Bryne, Smrz etc who ride the 1098r !

And ya when you are less informed about the racing world you will find sense in Satellite s post !

It really upsets me that on my simple & plain "point of view" you have not failed to use an insulting language. yes, I do feel insulted & i think that your language exudes low ethics... I'm really disappointed!!

I feel insulted.. Let me remind you that XBHP a forum & everyone is free to express his/her views & my comment was neither insulting nor demeaning to anyone, including... you should have followed suit but sad you could't.. This is not the way to treat other member who don't sync with your opinion... Shame!!

I just gave you a taste of what you gave me ! thats it Nitin ! i have nothing against you ! why should i have one ? ! It was just how you treated me ! And pls don t tell me you did not mean to insult me anywhere at all ! you know what you did and where you did !
And I am an old member as you are and have read about your Blackbird and you too ! Just been silent all the time from the very first XBHP ! so i do know the ethics ! Its just a matter of making you understand what you did ! Simple !

OK guys, time for a cease fire!
Lets get back to racing, shall we? A very big motorcycle racing weekend is right upon us.

WBSK at Donington and MotoGP at Assen. BTW, the MotoGP race will be on Saturday (Assen tradition).
